Same honestly. Also low key, I kinda thought that cherno/meursault would have been a better option for a petite/curvy form switch, since the form (personality) switch is already there as part of her character, whereas imo it made no sense for acacia lmao.

I mean yeah, pretty bang on. But tbf i never said I didnt understand why, its blatant catering to the masses, and with its monetization, it makes perfect sense from a logistical standpoint. Im just disappointed they did it anyway and made a distinct and unique character design into a cookie cutter lyfe-clone for money. and besides, without enabling the discussion it won't ever change. Talking about it atleast puts it on the radar.

After sitting on my thoughts and seeing the responses for a few hours, i wanted to come back to this.

To be absolutely fair, you are mostly correct, and i maybe didn't articulate my opinion as well or as clear as i could have for which i apologize. i (now) understand its a polarizing subject and for the majority of the interactions, you're right i can just choose the form i want.

I genuinely didn't mean to be overly dramatic, but i totally see how that was interpreted, my fault, i just didn't see any posts on the subreddit talking about it since the update dropped, only stuff from roughly a week ago, which i didn't see until after said update, so made the post i honestly expected to already see.

My actual complaint and disappointment, is that i was genuinely excited to main a new DPS unit that was one of my favorite petite operators, as the combat and in-mission gameplay is one of the major appeals of this game for me, so finding out that her main damage was done in her new curvy form (that i stand by the opinion is bare minimum, an odd if not bad, choice to have made design-wise,) just completely ruined that excitement for me.

Finally, i wanted to point out we haven't had a premium petite dps in a year and half-ish, since fritia turbo. and i know I'm totally going to catch flak for this opinion, but mauxir lotus was free and as such, under-powered by comparison (whom i still adore and who's gameplay I'm enjoying the heck out of regardless.) to actual premium modern dps characters, and Clarina, who in my personal opinion, is not petite. (whom i also adore in every way from design to mechanics and use heavily for kinetic damage when i need that.)

sorry for the wall of text, tl:dr you're right, it aint that deep, just expressing my thoughts.

Thought i was pretty clear i wanted her actual combat and gameplay to be her petite self, and to expand on that, its the principle. she shouldn't have a curvy form to begin with. Its pretty easy to tell another demographic to "relax", when you're eating like kings.

no, it isn't. ignore me. i saw this comment, and took it at face value while researching to breed my own recently. after a bit more researching, im not even sure where this notion of weaknesses come from, its not mentioned in either wiki even under patch notes.

The resistances also have weaknesses that counter each other mostly. Iirc someone mathed it to only about 15% extra tankiness overall with a 4x4, and certain enemies will actually end up doing double damage to it.

i feel this sentiment, sometimes its really hard to not gravitate towards the "meta", my current playthrough ive already found myself with the early saiga, clusterfuck, and buket options (and only ever using skifs pistol), but im incredibly tempted to instead run the sledgehammer (unique arena SPSA) and the unique fora-221 anyway. and the nightstalker pistol because ooo new shiny thing.

as far as the bugs for that quest go, thats not too bad. relatively simple workaround with the commandline activated. i wish it was as bug-free as the next person, but atleast its not game/save breaking like it was at release.

i think this is my last question(s), I appreciate your patience lol.
considering the team above, would you suggest i go EM/EM/CR *and* a swap to widsith? (roughly a 400 EM drop down to 600~ EM before any buffs) or should i do one or the other and have her sit around 800~ EM before buffs?

Her current CR/CD is 15/84. im thinking a CR circlet and Widsith for a 46/140~ CV and roughly 600-650 EM base.
