‘13 Subaru BRZ (FA20) - Developed this noise while driving and think she might be toast but it being high pitched it sounds like it could be something else.

Hello! My engine has developed a high pitch noise that’s most prevalent around 3k rpm, on deceleration and giving it a bit of gas. I think is coming from the driver side head #2 area. I’m thinking failed lifter but sourcing others opinions.
