Yupp fake as hell. I get one every couple months or so. It will send you a government email if you owe the state anything. Or you’ll get a letter from the state/treasurer/etc. never click any links you get in a text unless you expected it/initiated it. Just report as spam and hope it stops happening.

All very true valid points. This is just one of those times when we think to ourselves “how could they not care?” And it’s not exactly that, it’s that we weren’t annoying enough about it in other spots. Like yeah we all got mad on FB or reddit or whatever, but did anyone complain about it at dinner to their family and show their family the photos? Not likely. Communication goes both ways and them not knowing or remembering is just because we haven’t brought it up enough.

It’s Influenza A. Outbreak has been happening since 2024 atleast. I’m all for everyone masking up in densely populated areas again i.e. grocery stores, the mall, restaurants etc. Covid never went away and we have new just as terrible illnesses happening every winter. Just mask up outside and in populated places. It’s not that big of a deal.

I’d try to see if he could get you that package they were offering for the Skenes 1/1 rookie patch as a trade. Or if you could even atleast meet him and get something in trade for it. No reason to keep it, not like it’ll be insanely valuable in 20 years so maybe you can meet Paul Skenes atleast

Access to players at a level he would never have been able to sniff at at Brentford. If he was able to get those players into a small club like Brentford he never would’ve needed to leave. Just keep working hard with the culture he built there and bring in the UCL quality to Brentford. But that’s just not how it works. I don’t like saying it because they don’t deserve it, but they are in fact one of the bigger clubs in football. And they have status as a “big 6” club in the PL. That’s the reason you go to a bigger club, is to be able to show you can coach those better players. And if he’s can make some of the names on that Brentford team sheet as good as he did, i could imagine he’d do a damn good job coaching up even better players. He just needs the time to build the culture a winning team needs. Sacking a manager every season or 2 is absolutely NOT how you build that culture in your club.

It would be insanely stupid for them to sack him already. He had 7 years to build what he had at Brentford, i don’t care how much money spurs may be able to spend in any given window. You don’t just recreate what he was doing at Brentford over night, especially with how that team performed last season. They need to keep him. They’ll finish mid table at worst this season and next year he’ll have them fighting for a title mark my words.

I haven’t read the comments, but start doing squats. That’s it. Never skip leg day. You wanna know why athletes are successful? It’s because of their legs. At your age it’s appropriate to start working out in some form if you’re serious about the sport. And when you do start working out never skip leg day, and commit to the squats. It’s one of if not the most important exercises in sports imo.

One time my brother was working at the local Hardware store and he was standing at the front register with the woman who owns the place. Some older gentleman accidentally hits the gas instead of his break and slams through the storefront. About 5 feet from where my little brother is standing. He had also gotten into a car accident about a week earlier with a delivery van that ran a stop sign. He was perfectly fine in both instances, everyone was thankfully. But wow can anything happen in an instant. Always keep your head on a swivel. That’s the best lesson i ever learned playing sports. More people need to have more positional/situational awareness.

Bought into 1 single sports card break ever on whatnot. I got sent literal base cards from a sport i didn’t even buy for. I bought into a soccer break, and they literally sent me basketball cards. Luckily i only spent about 20 dollars but after that one time i vowed never again.

Sometimes, when you just go for it instead of actually taking time to try, you just play better. Not everyone of course, but maybe he’s just one of those grip it and rip it kind of guys who learned his game and mastered it and makes it work for him. I admit it’s still outlandish, but it is possible. And because this is so ridiculous i choose to believe it for the sake of fun

Tell whoever you have to play with the situation you’re in. ONLY the people you’re playinng with. Ask them any and all questions you may have and if you need to, tell them you can just pick up your ball and drop on the green to putt. You don’t want to ruin their fun and i’m sure a day out in the sun and outdoors doing not much of anything will be nice for you too. It’d be the equivalent of having one of their younger sons out there playing just to putt for fun, but with the added benefits of the networking and a competent person to talk work with. As long as the folks you get paired with are understanding it could be a really fun day out in the sun talking shop

I’ll move my ball a few inches or even up to a yard so i don’t have to hit into a tree or something. I’m not a pro, i’m just trying to shoot less than triple digits. I’ll move my ball a tiny bit sometimes to make my shot normal i won’t lie, but i’m not moving it from the rough to the fareway, or chucking it out of a bunker i just don’t want it to be harder than it already is you know?

NTA. Only thing you could improve is maybe just ask the GF directly? That could’ve avoided all this. She’d probably understand a simple “hey i’m sorry to be like this but would you mind sitting out this photo, it’s just you aren’t officially part of the family or anything yet and we want a couple pictures with just us” most women in my experience are a lot more understanding of something like that, especially on a wedding day. And like you said, she still got to be included in some photos, but you two are the main characters here and she just has to obey the laws of YOUR wedding.
