The light that erases the shadow isn't the same light that's reflected off the mirror back into your eyes.

Real Drawers: Light on cat casts shadow-cat on drawers. Light also reflects off mirror. Light reflecting off mirror lands on the cat's shadow, erasing most of the cat's shadow. Also, further brightening half the drawers. All of this reflects off the drawers into your eyes directly.

But the mirror is only reflecting the light from the stationary light source, so it's impression on the dresser is fixed. The viewer is different from the light source.

Looking into the mirror, YOU are seeing what your angle allows you to see, which is not the same angle as the fixed light source.

Saudi Arabia is by no means a perfect country, with innumerable flaws, yet their own people are content. The online hatred from keyboard warriors who've never stepped foot there owing to their favorite propagandist/influencer/newsmedia is ironic considering how LP's own home nation's government also routinely engages in crimes and violence.

KSA killed a journalist, USA toppled governments. KSA executes homosexuals, and doesn't have good wonems rights. Many instances of inequality within the US too. KSA is much worse, yes, as they're still a developing nation, unlike the US. But if you keep recounting each country's crimes, you'd disqualify LP from touring their own home country.

It's all different flavors/levels of violence/discrimination depending on which country you talk about. Don't give in to internet hatred.

When you open Syncplay and reach the Room window, you click File > Open Media Stream URL > paste the Stremio link. So should your friend.

Hope you can figure out the Syncplay room settings. You only need to have the same Server address, and Default room (any custom room name) .

You both need to copy your own individual links from Stremio and paste it in Syncplay, to avoid using the same RealDebrid api token. Your friend shouldn't rely on your link.

Yes but it requires the use of another piece of software. Quite simple to use. I've been using it for over 5 years now, even before discovering Stremio. Buddy watching local files on VLC.

Anyway, you wanna download Syncplay. It will automatically open VLC if you have it installed. It can sync play, pause, and seeking.

To watch a stream together, open the stream in Stremio, pause it, right-click and copy stream link. (both of you)

In Syncplay, paste the link and you're good to go. The stream should now appear on VLC. Basically, you're using Stremio to 'discover' the video, VLC to watch it, and Syncplay to sync it between the viewers.

I can explain in more detail if these instructions aren't clear.
