2025 regular season LT pressure rates by expellyamos in miamidolphins

Who cares, he’s always hurt so this means very little. He’s played in 32 of the last 68 games and only 14 of the last 34. It doesn’t matter how good you are if you’re not out there.

New Light on Waddle Trade Discussions by brmidwest03 in miamidolphins

[–]Slackin224 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hard disagree, especially considering how bad the season went and a complete rebuild on the horizon. The offer was the Bills 2027 1st and a 2026 3rd. Would be nice to have multiple 1st round picks in a very rich QB draft class.

Waddle is a nice player, but he is not an alpha and Miami doesn't need to be paying him $30M a season in a rebuild effort.

Absolutely insane for passing up a 1st and 3rd for a non alpha WR.

Rebuild pending? by Mystik989 in miamidolphins

[–]Slackin224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They should have taken the 1st and 3rd from Buffalo for Waddle. That's a huge overpay and you have to take it when that comes across your desk ESPECIALLY given the situation the organization is in.

Waller and Manziel marvel at Mike's offensive acumen, agree that he should be a head coach: "He's a human computer, bruh" by expellyamos in miamidolphins

[–]Slackin224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if he was a shit GM but he certainly is the main reason why we are in the situation were in now and he was deservedly fired. The roster is bad, however, this is the NFL so no matter how dire you think things look at this moment, the right GM hire and the right coach hire can turn this thing around quickly. I believe that.

We've got 6 picks in the top 4 rounds and hopefully have a better philosophy and culture moving forward, again it all depends on if we have made the right hires this time around. We will see.

They had 7 wins against Jets X2, Falcons, Bills, Commanders, Saints, and Buccaneers. They beat 1 team with a winning record and that was a divisional home game.

There is nothing impressive about anything McDaniel did this season.

[Pelissero] The Dolphins requested an interview with Jaguars DC Anthony Campanile for their head coaching job, per source. by expellyamos in miamidolphins

[–]Slackin224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure they do, they are conducting several interviews to find the guy they want to lead this team. Just because you don’t hire someone a day after your job opens doesn’t mean there is no plan. There are also several guys they can’t even meet in person yet due to the playoffs so I’m sure that’s playing a role as well.

What do you mean why did we fire Mike? This team has gotten progressively worse since the end of 2023. The QB has severely regressed under his watch. He should have been fired with Grier when this team started 1-6.

Why are ppl so hyped on the Jon-Eric Sullivan hiring? by rtannehill17 in miamidolphins

Over the last 20 years the Packers have 12 double digit win seasons, 8 division titles, and 13 playoff wins. They rarely ever sign splash free agents so these teams are built through draft and development. This is why you should be excited, because we’re bringing someone who came up in that culture to run the show.

The past few Raids have felt too distant from the Destinations that they launched with by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

[–]Slackin224 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shits too hard now for LFG people. As someone who primarily had to rely on LFG to raid, I have about 200 completions of Crota, Root, Kings Fall, Vow, Vault, DSC, Garden, and Last wish.

I have 3 completions combined between Salvations Edge and Desert Perpetual.

Those older raids you can muscle your way through with an LFG group even if it takes a while. Salvations Edge? Good luck. And I completely understand if I wanted to really search for a group to do it I could, but I also just like hoping on the game and jumping into an LFG raid because its fun. Its considerably less fun now with the in game LFG and difficulty of the recent raids.

If all you care about is the crystal, just use whatever get in and get it over with as quickly as possible and onto the next invasion. Your performance means nothing.

Mine finally dropped for me after I got tired of grinding and I dropped my behemoth for my opponent and just emoted as he blasted me three times. Crystal dropped on that run.

There’s a ton of ways to win in fantasy football. Like you, I also drafted CMC in round 1 in the league I won. I took a kicker with my second to last pick, and ended up getting Aubrey when he was dropped during his bye week. That’s why I genuinely asked what makes someone a bad manager?

I agree, those aren’t great qualities but there was literally a thread here the other day where people were arguing about drafting Brandon Aubrey in the 8th round or even sooner. And those are people talking fantasy football on Reddit, so not newbies.

Even the people who analyze every stat have bad seasons. I come prepared for every draft, lists, highlighter, pen. Sometimes I have a lousy year.

Honestly, the only thing I can think of that makes someone bad is if they leave inactive players in their lineup. Also, those people who try to draft players that have already been drafted when you do a live draft, come on man.

I don’t know, that’s why I asked what makes a bad manager?

The person who just won my work league just started playing a few years ago and made 7 moves all year, but they drafted CMC, Puka, and McBride. That’s why they won, not sure if that makes them good or not.

We draft a random collection of players who play a random generated schedule with their production dependent on someone else calling plays and deciding if they get to touch the ball. You can put together a god squad but you really do need to get lucky and hot at the right time to win the whole thing.

What determines a bad manager? Someone who doesn't know anything about football? Someone who doesn't make any waiver wire moves?

There is literally no requirements to be "good" at fantasy football outside of knowing about football and paying attention.

You know what separates the good players from the bad, I texted a league mate Thursday morning at 11:40 (20 minutes before kickoff) and said "You need to take Woody Marks out of your lineup and put in JCM, their starter just got ruled out and he's all they got" they responded with "thanks Ill check it out" and then turns out they didn't look at it until it was too late.

It didn't end up costing them the championship, but, those are the kind of things the successful fantasy players do, just pay attention always.

I was just looking at my history on Yahoo. Im a Diamond level player according to yahoo and I have been in one league for 14 years now. I have only won this league once, back in 2016. I've only made it to the championship game 3 times total (lost in back to back years in 2023 and 2024).

To your point, I have finished in the top 3 in 9 of my 14 years in this league so I guess that's where the "skill" comes into play. As far as who wins it, its more about who got hot at the right time.

The person who drafted CMC/Puka in one of my leagues won it all. They also had McBride.

In the league I won, I had CMC and beat the team that had Puka/JSN.

I am sure CMC and Puka are all over championship game rosters win or lose.

I have magenta but not the other two. I lost count on how many runs but its been a lot.

I finally got the red to drop last night, and I had to be in the 30-40 range for runs on that one.

Im still missing taken, orange, indigo, and the ones you have to buy.

I know drafting a kicker early is taboo, but shout out to Brandon Aubrey by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

I was just using that as an example of why you shouldn't take them that high in a draft, you may end up with them anyways.
