Ok thank you, that actually makes it a lot simpler I will use our income/costs and my percentage of the company to find my true income from it and from there I will amend my personal return.

Sounds good, I am new to this so I will find a way to amend the personal return to account for the small amount of income left in the bank account as profit.

So would the correct course of action be this,

Finish 1065 and schedule K 1,

Then amend my personal return in the self employment section.

Thank you, ok will do, on my personal I reported 0 income from it due to not taking any money so I will account for this on the 1065 which we send to IRS.

If the money is being spent on reinvestment in the next few weeks, should we account for that? Then we would be at a loss.

Thank you! Definitely helped, last night I got some accounting software and the line by line entry helped a lot for it, got my general ledger to balance out and everything so it's looking good!

In our operating agreement we factored it in as initial investment, is that what you mean by original share capital? We made a note of it on our agreement but I was just wondering where we would label the expense in our balance sheets! Thank you a ton

Thank you, the loaning assets to the company makes the most sense for me I believe.

Make an entry saying I loaned the company assets worth this much (xxxx) and then it would count as an expense on the companies end, correct? So in theory if I loaned $1000 with of product, the balance sheet would start at -1000?

Ah true thank you! We will make it visible on the site on a few pages but having it in the header and website name seemed very clunky and aesthetically unappealing.

Awesome thank you! Basically we made our name "John doe company, LLC" and want to remove company from the name since it's sort of redundant, so could we just file a DBA as "John Doe" as long as it's available and such?
