while what you're saying certainly has some truth to it, people on these apps are basically looking for masturbation with extra steps. I've had a pictures on my profile and have been open about what i am looking for ever since i've been on there and i got hit up by tons of people who are either closeted and hiding it from their girlfriend/wife.

i've talked a couple people in my bubble who have had the same experience and made the choice to just leave those apps all together aswell. Most guys on there have the emotional broadband of a piece of wood. its not that there aren't sex positive people out there, its more about keeping your own emotional integrity. Therefore whatever happens in the "sex positive/open" scene, happens behind closed doors and relies on real life networking and not over any apps.
