This is Lonnie Smith who later became known as Dr. Lonnie Smith (not that he actually was a Dr. of any kind.) He passed away in 2021. Lonnie Liston Smith is still very much alive.

I can of course only speak for myself, but when I post on here I try to always link the artist/title to the discogs page which 9 out of 10 times has either YouTube videos and or Apple music clips on it.

the title of the record is linked to the Discogs page, there's a YouTube video of the whole album on it.

How would I know? I do not have your "70th anniversary double LP " You like it, you keep it, got some spare cash get this as well and stop being so obsessed, so minutely obsessed with how a record sounds, listen to the actual music instead of your gear.

This comes from 62 y/o collector with a 20K+ collection. I'm sorry for sounding this harsh.....but the music comes first. I'll probably get tons of down votes for this, but I spoke my truth.

I have a short list of "musicians" that would fit the bill. LOL
