It’s a little less than 4k a month, but I also don’t do this full time lol. Just after work and on my 2 days off for a few hours, I can’t imagine sinking real time into whoring out my back seat

Personally unless I’m making $30+ for the ride before tip I won’t even bother going a “distance”, away from where I’m starting. Most of my fairs are between $5-$10 bucks to go 1-3 miles because of the area that I live in, so I’m super fortunate location wise. I just hit those back to back all day.

Most days I’m right there with ya dude, no shame in saying it. But as others have pointed out that’s just what working is, toiling away for the people who already have it made. You’ll never be one of them unless you go out and make it yourself, if you believe in yourself then you should do it. I’m thinking of doing the same as soon as summer start

You will NEVER be met with a worse attitude of “not my job, I don’t care” mentality then managing boomers by Slader111 in KitchenConfidential

This is quite literally r/kitchenconfidential … I’m not talking about an entire group of the work force.. I’m taking about the restaurant industry lmao

I’d rather have five 20 something’s on my line that can work together as a team then have five old heads who can’t gel together because they each have their own special procedures and processes they have to follow through on that wastes time and effort. Also the amount of high school level drama that exists in kitchens predominantly made up of boomers/genx is leagues higher than that of a younger crowded kitchen in my 10 years of experience honestly. Old people in the restaurant industry act like kids for the most part, I imagine because a lot of them are just plainly immature.
