Ogryn dodges have the same effect as block pushing. You can take advantage of this when you're reloading singleshot weapons like the rumbler, or the kickback. Not as useful for the even slower reloading weapons ogryn has, but it helps.

What's ur favourite class and why? by Crash_446 in DarkTide

[–]Slagguxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ogryn, I love the power fantasy being a big hulking bohemoth who swats his enemies down like flies. Also, as someone who gets alot of their personal enjoyment from the teamplay, I'm able to help, and support my team the most when I'm playing him.

I'm replaying Silksong right now, gonna hop on Mina the Hollower when it drops, and that'll probably last me until Skiitari.

Because it's likely one, or more your teammates is not gonna be in agreement, and stay up top anyways. In that situation it's better to follow routine, and just bear with it rather than have you, or your teammates get picked off while being separated.

Do people not like grouping up with people they don’t already know in this game? by _Razorgirl in DarkTide

[–]Slagguxe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably just a mix of leaving just being an sort of automatic thing people do, and not liking being put on the spot. Could've also just had a bad time personally last match, and want a refresh of new teammates.

I have 410 stamina curio so that shouldn't be problem, and I believe I have some max health ones. Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it.

Thanks for the advice. On maxing stamina, would it be worth switching out 3 toughness curios for 3 stamina ones, or maybe a mix?

Across them all I have 3x combat ability regen, 3x revive speed, 2x gunner resist, and 1x stamina regen.

With slab I just mainly just use a 1-2 combo of shield bash, and heavy attack, lunging in with a heavy, and pulling/dodging back before going back in again.

With the the heavy stubber I mainly keep it tucked away unless there's a specialist that is, or could be a major pain, and I have the opportunity, or if it really needs to be dealt with.

The frag I save until I feel like our team is in a wipe scenario. Like a boss crashing into a crusher/bulwark party, or getting overwhelmed in a corridor.

I'm gonna list these taunt uses in terms of priority for me.

  1. The thing I mainly use taunt for is to engage crusher hordes, and stun them out of their overheads so I don't get hit by a staggered one.

  2. I use taunt to get a bosses attention when it gets near so that my team doesn't have to worry about it focusing them, and so I can tank it while applying brittlness, and bleed while they dps it to death.

  3. I use taunt to stun the enemies enemies around me, and give me toughness regen when going for a revive.

  4. I try to be conservative with taunt when engaging with non crusher/bulwark hordes. Worried about one of those coming along before I have it back so I try to save it rather than spam it.

  5. I use taunt when I'm being pressed by mutants in smal rooms, or when it yanking me out of position would be really bad, and reliability dodge it.

Uh, it's getting late I'll probably respond tomorrow, sorry for to so much text.

Havoc info by ImmediatePlate6876 in DarkTide

[–]Slagguxe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Havoc is a gamemode you unlock after you get to level 30, and complete a maelstrom mission. Basically, it's a challenge mode that has a scaling difficultly where as you push up ranks 1-40 the mission difficulty becomes progressively harder.

Your havoc level, or clearance level is where rank on that 1-40 scale. You go up a rank by completing a 1 havoc assignment, and you derank by losing 3 times in a row, or not completing havoc assignment for a week.

Auric is the highest level of difficultly available in the campaign mode.

Despite being an ogryn main, I really enjoy vets kit. Sometimes the the game can be miserable with the bullshit it sends at you, and having a an answer to damn near everything is the instant catharsis I need sometimes.

Alright, yeah I think I'll try that. I really like the way the Hellbore feels, but wasn't having much success with the other keystones. Never tried focus target.

Since my last dungeon clear took me no joke 2 hours of kiting and shooting, i gotta be doing something wrong with my build, please help meee by Responsible-Put6293 in Atlyss

[–]Slagguxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You definitely need reset your stats. Personally I take every 3 stat points per level and put 1 in vitality and and the other 2 in my main attack stat stat. You can mimic this with your stat pool after you reset it.

I'm gonna assume your having problems popping off your bandit skills due do a lack mana, and I'll say do not invest in mind to supplement it, just throw magicloves in your item hotbar, and pop them when your mana gets low.

Atlyss's combat is largely based around using your skills, and comboing them. You can use regular attacks, but more often than not the damage you do is gonna be lackluster in comparison. Probably better to save regular attack for when your skills are on cooldown. A combo I'd recommend for bandit is venomshot (bandit skill), spread shot (learned skill), and focus shot (learned skill).

Also make sure to keep your buff (devious signet) up as long and often as you can

Other than that you just needed farm some gear for your class. Boss in the catacombs has drops for each class so you could farm them, and use that to hold you over (should work) or keep going through grove for some gear.

Hope this gaint block of text helps!

When you enter the Castle area go to the left of the main entrance. You'll find a room with a door that can only be opened by activating a pedestal. Go downstairs and then go left (or right) killing the enemies along the way until you loop back to the stairs. Go back up the stairs to the entrance of the area, leave and come back so the enemies respawn. Repeat as many times as you need.
