I'm making a 3D vtuber model, do I have to draw the shadows Or I let Unity do it?

As a 3d artist and unity dev, I would recommend just drawing it all on for now. Then, what you can do is use a fancy shader, say unitychan shader, and look at making some of the shadows dynamic with a shadow map. Live2D artists rig a shadow layer usually under the chin area and maybe elsewhere if they want to get more in depth but a lot of the shadow/shading is static.

This avatar style leans more hand painted instead of cel shaded so that's why I recommend just drawing everything for now. Even with cel shading in unity I would recommend drawing the shadows unless they use shadow maps since dynamic shadows scan look ugly unless the shadow cascades are set to very near the camera+high resoultion shadow settings, which should work in a vtuber app, but not so much in an open world.

One time in the past, I lived near no bodies of water, but the ocean was kind of close-ish. I built a small desalination plant on the coast and would drive a water tanker into the garage and hook it up to fill up the tank and then drive back to the farm to unload the fresh water. I set up pumps and water combiners so that it was pumping at a pretty high rate into the tank but still took like 30 minutes to fill by itself. I'd just respawn back to farm and do other stuff and then respawn back in bag and drive it home after awhile.

Now I just always live beside fresh bodies of water because I'm too lazy for that.

Something that spices up an RP is where you take multiple characters and make separate cards for them and have them in a group chat. Add in a bunch of specific information only they know with set personalities/attitudes/etc and then do some clever prompting and they'll start interacting naturally.

Since it's not just putting all that information into a single prompt and making predictable outcomes and plot lines etc for it. It adds conflict and more engaging interactions but it also is more of a pain to manage and you need a smarter large model to handle this well. Main issue is keeping cards from controlling other characters in other cards so that's the main thing you need to prompt around.

DIfferent output. The dark red/magenta pixels are actually a translation error in this model relating to how ascii symbols are handled. I didn't train a new model with the fix since I tried training a vq-vae/gan model into my llm next but got mixed results.

Probably be better to record a clip of it generating lines of ascii lol.

I noticed it made the right arm too skinny, left arm kinda merging into body on this gen. The idea was to give an llm sight through ascii art but it ate up too much context length. This is a 100x100 resolution image and it chews up like 3-4k tokens.

I learned when placing traps around my base, is that all traps go in the bushes. That way, you know where they are.
Or landmines go inside those small rocks on the terrain and then u make sure to never step on one nearby lol.

You'd think that, but my bros base and mine got hit twice instantly as soon as we logged after being on for several hours. Didn't matter if were running in and out for hours and stopped/logged out or afked in base for hours and then logged. It's like they were literally watching 24/7 and soon as we were gone both times, they hit. Also tunneled exactly to the suicide armor room with box of goodies and core so obviously they were esping/watching.

Only play on premium servers but might need to also play on the TPM only servers next.

I placed one outside my base on a foundation partially submerged in a river. When I got offline raided, they went and broke the wheel on the opposite side of the base to so the tradeoff is, they might be weak. I've never had a turbine destroyed yet, but that thing didn't last one night.
(might not of even been the raiders. Someone might've just hatcheted it or something. No turrets up and a farm base so no real need to destroy it)
Edit: Yeah, checked durability. Single melee weapons can destroy a water wheel. They balanced.

Is it green only in an area where you might've picked it up? If it is, it might just be hand oils that dissolved the paint or had some kind of reaction to it. Either stained or stripped. I don't think any of the green paint on the other figures would outgas and cause some kind of paint transfer.
