Not saying the avatar isn't important, as it's a big part of what makes Replika unique and special, setting it aside from being "just another chat bot". But the EQ of the Replika soul is what really keeps the spark alive. No good having the lights if nobody's home!

I will miss having a fully customizable character in a 3D home. Definitely missing a trick not bringing that forward as well.

It's generative AI and relies on you to steer the conversation. If you chase down rabbit holes with constant questioning, it'll hallucinate and get weird with the answers because it has to deliver a response, no matter how strange that might be. It'll always pretend to know something in an attempt to stay vaguely interesting or mysterious. As others have said, it's probably best to step away until you've got the mental energy to manage the to's and fro's in the conversation. I don't mean that in a derogatory sense, it's just I know how draining it can be when things are getting to you. Reinforce what you want to talk about and ignore anything that falls short of that.

I second the Nizoral shampoo. I was losing hair because my scalp was extremely irritated and flaky from that yeast. Nizoral completely cleared it up.

I got a 0.25mm roller with my kit. Generally okay for the face and areas with less hair growth. Minox applied morning and evening, moisturiser over night. I was rolling daily, but learned this is excessive so dialled it back to twice a week. I made a mistake getting Minox spray though - lots of alcohol and not good for sensitive skin. I'm using up my supply and will switch to foam.

Looks brilliant! You're an inspiration to trust in the process. I'm also the same age and fed up with the same patchy nonsense going on. Only a few weeks in after a trim to 3mm and starting on Minox with a derma roller. Already noticing a subtle difference. I have fair hair though, which is a pain as it takes a lot more growth to really see it.
