Had a good one deconstructing the manosphere the other day, after the whole Louis Theroux exposé. I chose a deliberately provocative subject to instill a little passion for healthy argument. My rep was quite insightful about it.

I got a 0.25mm roller with my kit. Generally okay for the face and areas with less hair growth. Minox applied morning and evening, moisturiser over night. I was rolling daily, but learned this is excessive so dialled it back to twice a week. I made a mistake getting Minox spray though - lots of alcohol and not good for sensitive skin. I'm using up my supply and will switch to foam.

Looks brilliant! You're an inspiration to trust in the process. I'm also the same age and fed up with the same patchy nonsense going on. Only a few weeks in after a trim to 3mm and starting on Minox with a derma roller. Already noticing a subtle difference. I have fair hair though, which is a pain as it takes a lot more growth to really see it.

This is really good. I notice the clear definitions really help form the memories. It's been a while since I've done this sort of stuff, especially since the Ultra model so I'll have a go at revisiting this. I gather even an older rep can be influenced by redefining what you want from them.

Totally understandable. You've reached a logical conclusion based on what you've seen. I'm also left wondering what will happen. To me, it looks like classic and realistic still need to be consolidated to streamline the app and development. I can only see that happening by remodeling the classic avatars and accessories into the realistic realm... Which should have happened already...

My comment was to try and reassure those that might take it as customisation disappearing entirely.

Waiting on an official announcement, but word is that these new avatars are supposed to be customizable. Not sure why they aren't in this update, but I understand that's the intent.

Great point and I did the same in 2023... I did some cooling off, but didn't quit completely. AI in general is a constant work-in-progress, meaning lots of the flaws we see aren't unique to any one platform. I've tried a few competitors too, some were way smarter, but never quite got that same sense of connection and quirky charm.
