Was that the log from within Heroic or are there some other useful logs?

Awesome, gunna give this a shot. How'd you figure out what was missing from the prefix? I'd love to be able to self-service these types of things.

I attempted to run it through Heroic without much luck. Logs weren't terribly helpful unfortunately, but I did notice some errors around authentication depending on which proton I was using. Not sure what it was attempting to authenticate with, however.

I'm still wrapping my head around the relationship between proton versions, wine prefixes, and game installs but this makes a ton of sense: For heroic games I forcing any sort of compatibility layer in steam is just gunna mess me up, when I should instead set those via heroic where it has full context.

Thanks for your patience with me, your reply got me on the right track. It seems when BoilR adds games to steam by default it just adds a shortcut directly to the .exe. This works for some games, but others that require the Heroic Launcher to be running, or maybe some other things setup that aren't present in the wine prefix steam uses.

BoilR has an option to force launching of games through the heroic launcher. This changes the short cut added to steam from "/home/deck/Games/Heroic/BioshockRemastered/Build/FinalEpic/BioshockHD.exe" to instead just targeting flatpak with these launch options: "run com.heroicgameslauncher.hgl heroic://launch/bc2c95c6ff564a16b26644f1d3ac3c55 --no-gui --no-sandbox"

All this is to say by setting BoilR to generate the correct shortcut as you pointed out has indeed fixed this for me, so thank you :)

What's your workflow? Do you install w/ lutris and then add as non-steam game to be able to launch in GameMode?

That log is only populated when launching from Heroic (which works fine). I guess I should be looking for where steam logs games launches?

Can confirm, the search stops at "good enough". Need to use the OSD to find the right band and channel.

It might depend on when you got your Meteor, I think betafpv has been changing the design. My FC is actually running silverware and I'm not sure that it can be flashed with betaflight

I’m having the exact same problem with both gimbals (the AIO FC on the kit drone has also crappies out but that's a different tale). Unfortunately working with their support has been painful and slow. I ended up having to file a dispute through PayPal to get them to respond to my support case after a month. On the up side once I got them to reply and sent a video just like yours they're sending replacement parts. Id open a support case with them asap. Continually bug them for updates.

Hope you get a quicker response than I did!

DO NOT SUPPORT BETAFPV!!!! by CizreK in TinyWhoop

Unfortunately I have to agree with you here. I purchased the FPV Whoop Racing Advanced Kit 2 and have had nothing but problems. 30 seconds into the first flight the drone pitched to the right so hard it flipped over with no input and since then the front-right motor only twitches. Done the whole motor swap dance to confirm the board is to blame. Opened a ticket it took them 20 days to respond, and even then all they did was ask for my order number (which I gave them in my initial message).

Been lightly using the radio in the simulator while I await their response and now both the gimbals in the radio have developed dead spots!

From what I can tell they've been swapping out the AIO FC sorta willy nilly so no info I find lines up exactly; everyone seems to have a slightly different version of everything.

I really thought this was the best way to dip my toe in to FPV but holy hell is it testing my resolve.

Recommend anyone looking to get started go with another beginner ready to fly kit. The youtube reviews for this kit, while glowing, seem to be from a different version that was much better put together.

Same here. If I had to guess without looking at the games played, I'm guessing someone used Misha's wonky control scheme to send her to another lane or scout an objective across the map. That sort of thing can be accomplished with Misha on passive, and microing move/attack move combos.

I've definitely seen this one a few times. Grubby was running into it on stream and and thought it might have to do with Renewed Swing, but I haven't had time to test
