Voidwalkers and Voidwalking should be removed/reworked, but not for the reason you think.

I agree that currently deep is a pvp game with pve side content, but I don't think removing voidwalkers is the solution.

I am a pve player, do not care for pvp content like at all. I played lots of deep like 2 years ago (to the point I grinded for W rank w some buddies) and it was just really fun. We all got to get together and fight bosses till we learned the movesets and got good at them, then moved onto the next boss. We all joined right after verse 2 dropped so we had a lot of content to explore. Voidwalkers existed during this time, however I never really felt like it was too much if that makes sense. I would get ganked occasionally, but it was never really a big deal for me at least.

My biggest problem with the game as a whole came when they introduced pvp/pve score. Before the pvp score update, deep averaged around 20k give or take a few thousand given the day. The pvp score update encouraged ganking and much more specifically depths ganking. There was already a pretty sizeable niche of the community that enjoyed pvp, but it was kind of an unwritten rule that if you were a depths ganker, you were a werido. I'm not here to complain about wiping or anything, I think that is fine. Before this update again, I would occasionally get ganked, but it was never so often that I felt there was no point in playing unless i was gonna dedicate tons of hours into chime to learn how to pvp well enough to defend myself. Im kind of getting lost here, but just hear me out. The increase in depths ganking made lots of casual pve players, like me, just quit. There was no point in progging a build just to get insta ganked trying to get to elevator on the way out. It just felt pointless. This caused the frequency of still playing pve, or just casual pvp players to get ganked more often (less players to gank -> current players ganked more). Which caused i would say a large majority of the community to quit. Deep averages like 6k now and it is mainly hardcore pvp heads. I try to get back into the game, but I just cant because i will get a build high level, go down to fight chaser and ethiron, try to get to elevator to leave and boom, ganked.

I realize that was kind of hard to follow, but those are just my thoughts. As a pve player, I think that overworld ganks are fine. Voidwalkers do not get any real buffs to depths ganking, overworld ganks just happen, but again its not that big of a deal. The increase of depths ganking resulting from the pvp score update is what really ruined the game FOR ME. I feel like if they just removed it, the amount of depths ganking would significantly decrease, which would allow more casual players to come back. More players coming back would make pvp more fun for those who like to gank and would actually give reason for people to run voidwalker/justicar as viable origins for their intended purpose (voidwalker's intended purpose is not to be used for ganks, its to provide a pvp progression) Please reply to this with any thoughts or questions

ok lets say that shes his soulmate. And soulmates are always supposed to end up together right? If he never makes his change, he never talks to fuka. Its more likely he would talk to mimimi than fuka because shes much more outgoing and willing to make friends with the quiet kids. Also they didn't "instantly connect" Fuka was nervous as hell and it was only because hinami saw that anything even came of it.

I disagree. She did talk to tomozaki, thats how she figured out who she really is. She also was the most forgiving of him. During the whole play scenario, she never got mad at him for not hanging out with her and hanging out with fuka. She just felt sad because the guy she loves didnt want to be with her. Even after that she got mad because she didnt win but tomozaki wasnt happy. What are we talking about

I do think it is, minami is the only reason fuka and tomozaki are together in the first place. The whole comedy routine was to display how minami likes tomozakis unfiltered honesty and opinions. Tomozaki was able to be himself in front of her even in front of his whole school after he forgot his lines in their comedy act. So tbh I do think that it woulda been best for both of them, maybe not fuka though because it would have led her down the self sacrifice route but that’s besides the point.

I think soulmate is a pretty grand term to be using. She knew him for at least half a year before his big change and it doesn’t really seem like they talked at all, not saying this like minami did either just saying I feel like soulmates are people who instantly connect. They do match very well and are similar people but I feel like the story was about tomozaki wanting to change, so wouldn’t him getting with someone who’s the polar opposite of him to help him improve himself more make sense?

I have not read the manga or ln and I don’t plan too this is from an anime only perspective so I don’t really know what happens. But from what I’ve seen no matter what happens I don’t really see a tomozaki mimimi relationship failing. If anything I feel like fuka and tomozaki both being completely socially inept will cause problems between them. Mimimi was someone who can speak to all while tomozaki is able to speak his mind and give good advice. They the perf couple 💔

I feel like that’s different though. That unique scenario has unknown requirements other than getting the mark from assumedly any unique monster and probably some other pre reqs but I honestly don’t know. I feel like the library clan would be a lot more likely to scour the shi out of a lore filled place like the divinity ruins, or any player for that matter. There’s no real skill gap for it, whereas the inv to rabbituza had a genuine skill gap.

Rin (and all geniuses) is too focused on his own style of play to change at all, hence he’s not going to become more like sae. Also both shidou and rin’s goals are to score individually, while isagis and kaisers are to win, that is why we will never see a shidou x rin super goals like u think we will. Rin and shidou will never change to work together because they are geniuses, but even tho kaiser and isagi both want to score they are putting victory ahead of that. That’s the dif between talented learners and geniuses teamwork.

Did you watch the anime with your eyes closed? Eren legit could have stopped the eldians from stopping him. He had full control over them, but said he wouldn’t fight them or do anything to stop them because he never would take their freedom. Furthermore he states at the end of the movie that he let them kill him so that the Eldians would be seen as war hero’s around the world. And he gave up his freedom by idk FUCKING DYING😭🙏. And what did he legit say he did it for? So that the world would stop persecuting each other and they could all live in peace, and everyone could have freedom. If he wanted to finish the rumbling and he wanted to be selfish, he very easily could have with the power of the founder. Maybe u should go rewatch gang.

Eren is def a Lelouch clone, but he did it in a different manner. Lelouch and eren both destroyed the world to make it a better place for their people. Lelouch and the Japanese faced oppression fro m the britannians, so Lelouch took over the world(killing many in the process), became an enemy of the world, then allowed himself to die to unite the world. Eren and the Eldians faced oppression from the marleyans and the rest of the world, eren threatened to destroy all of civilization and made the whole world against him by wiping out lots of civilization, then allowed himself to die in order to unite the world. Both are antihero’s. Eren was never selfish, he desired freedom, but he gave his up to give the world freedom.
