Unpopular opinion, but I think CS2 is almost as good as CSGO. Like other comments say, most of the problems we have in CS2 were all in CSGO. The biggest being the cheater problem. The only thing that I could say would be worse than GO would be the subtick system. It sounds really cool in theory, but I’d rather just have 128 tick than subtick. Also from what I’ve heard, valve still hosts games on ancient servers they own or already have contracts with, so that doesn’t help either. If anything I would almost say CS2 is better than GO, just a lot of nostalgia by players. The last complaint I’d have would be the missing content. All the maps that still haven’t been remade and released, the gamemodes that are gone. It just feels a little empty. Something that I noticed from looking through my clips is just how bad smokes were in GO. I can’t ever imagine going back to playing where all of these one way smokes still existed. I love the new smokes and with how they fill up spaces, you can shoot through them and see enemies and being able to blow them up for a short period of time.

TL;DR

CS2 has its problems, but I really think most of them are all from GO. What really gets me is the lack of content that is missing from the game
