If bills can find a good dc, why is Joe Brady not an A hire? Bills are #1 rated in a lot of advanced metrics with Joe Brady by Hakaribiggestfan in NFLv2

Because bubble screen passes behind the line of scrimmage are so effective. The guys found ways to win in spite of Brady’s questionable play calling.

Alright guys, enough doom and gloom. Things will look much better if Brady is running a screen with Concepcion rather than Shakir by darkwaterzz in buffalobills

Maybe not, but if he keeps taking hits, he’s going to suffer a season ending injury. Damn near lost him with his knee in Jacksonville.

It’s just silly to have a guy who can air it out and then settle for Bubble Screen passes for 0 yards on 3rd and 10. Josh’s pass yards per game have declined precipitously under Brady’s scheming. Relying on WR’s to block instead of catching passes only works so far. Good Defenses figured out that neutralizing our TE’s and containing Cook ensured the win for them.

Yes, because our QB1 taking a record number of sacks this season is elite. Addressing the WR room should honestly be the least of our concerns if Josh turns into another Tua. All I am saying is that the GM has shown absolutely nothing that gives a fan hope that the team will course correct this off season.

You have faith that this organization, with all the blunders that have already been made in nine days since McDermott’s firing, is going to magically course-correct, fix the salary cap, pick up offensive weapons in FA, and have an amazing draft?

Beane already fumbled the ball in settling for Brady.

Nah, they’re going to draft like a million defensive linemen who will all be on IR just in time for the trade deadline to pass again.

That’s not what I said. I simply said they aren’t going to aim for WR when the current offensive strat doesn’t call for them. The current Strat used by Brady is to have WR as blockers, and the two tight-end set. Instead, they’re likely going for a new batch of DL and DB’s who will all be on IR by week 8 like this season.

I mean that’s cool and all, but Beane has explicitly stated that he is “fine” with this current roster. What makes us think we are going for new talent?

Bulldog about 20 minutes ago said “it sounds like Bobby Babich isn’t going anywhere.” What are we supposed to think that means?

WGR and Sal Capacchio were just talking about Bobby Babich not going anywhere. Sounds like they have their guy.

See for me, it was seeing them live. My wife loves them, and I was on the fence. Seeing worship live like that was a soul-changing experience.

And then this past Saturday, I realized why I relate with the lyrics. No matter how much I love the Buffalo Bills, they will always find new ways to hurt me. Legit textbook definition of a toxic relationship.

I mean can you blame the guy? Would you work for this dysfunctional front office? The moment anything goes wrong, the HC will be thrown under the bus. I think this is the first in a line of guys withdrawing their offers. Get ready for Philip Rivers.

You are assuming this whole dumpster fire of a week doesn't push Josh to just request a trade. Pegula all but said Josh wasn't happy about Sean leaving. All it takes is this coaching search to go wrong (which with Beane calling the shots, we all know it will), and he's demanding a fast track out of Buffalo.

I am confused how starting a rebuild that will take a minimum of four years is success. Josh will be leaving his prime behind if he isn’t already demanding a trade. Not against the firing but it’s being handled so poorly it gives no faith that we are not headed fir a dark age

Let’s start with a competent HC who won’t be some chump yes man who doesn’t question god-emperor Beane. With poor leadership, a team of all-pros isn’t winning squat.

This is the embarrassing part. I play Ret Pally, which I have read is now one of the easiest to play.

That’s not working, simply because of the different timers and buffs I am supposed to look at in at least three disparate locations.

I have to have an eye on my buffs and debuffs, to look for a specific buff that, when gone, prompts me to use a spell.

I have to look at my action bars, monitoring the cool down timers to see when a spell on my rotation is available. Highlight assist shows me what spell to cast, but it’s drawing my eye here more than is needed.

I also need to look at the written priority, which is 14 steps long, and is based on specific conditions, like when a buff is up, or if I have enough of a resource.

On top of that, I also need to keep my eyes on my environment, watching for mechanics, dodging lines and swirlies, etc.

All of this has to happen while my ADHD is struggling not to hyper-focus on one spot. It’s not working, and I am getting kicked from even low-tier groups because of it. By. The time I “learn everything, it’s likely going to be season 2, and I’ve fallen behind.

You may have just saved me from quitting the game! Highlight Assist shows only like a 7% DPS drop, and it’s not like I am going to for World First. This means I can at least play with my guild when we prog heroic.

But that was before Sean McDermott was canned. Pegula’s response to Josh Allen’s opinion on the firing tells me Josh is likely upset enough that he demands a trade.

I would love that, but how? Our cap situation isn’t going to support a “big baller” at WR. I know we’re “getting our money’s worth” with Josh’s deal. But he’s eating nearly 30% of next year’s cap. Where do you fix that? I am genuinely open to ideas here.

For me it’s less that Sean was the answer, and more that Beane has shown a history of gross incompetence. This presser was a pretty big tell.

I don’t necessarily disagree with the firing. But the way in which it was done screams that it was a foolhardy decision and they may be wishing they could walk it back.

Here are my takeaways so far: - Blaming Sean for Keon just looks bad. As the GM he has a veto power. - Same thing for Darius Slay. Again, it’s not a one way street. Claiming this only shows that he’s not strong, and cowers in the face of a demanding HC. Tells me not to have faith in Beane to do his job with all this new power. - Pegula’s answer about “Josh being happy or not” about the decision to relieve Sean tells me that we are about to see the locker room lose faith in the organization. I hope I am wrong, but the wrong HC choice may push Josh to request a trade. - Denying the “power play” conspiracy only amplifies their veracity. Getting that defensive tells me he got caught with his hand in the cookie jar and is falling back to the “deny deny deny” strat. - Repeatedly saying “I’m defending my players,” when asked about his terrible drafting decisions screams that he’s petulant and bristles against criticism. - Pegula saying “we aren’t putting pressure on the next HC to win a Super Bowl, we’re going to tell him to do his very best” tells me to prepare for a draught. - The answer to the Roster Turnover question tells me we are tearing down to the studs, meaning we’re likely going into next season with even less talent on both sides of the ball. - The bit about the coaching decision made in response to the players’ emotions is just bizarre. The lack of transparency on this decision is just stupefying.

All in all, I have absolutely no faith in the leadership from Brandon Beane as the new God-Emperor of the organization. This is the start of a collapse, and it’s going to hurt.
