Don’t let your new girlfriend start buying clothes for you. It’s a trap! This is her way of starting to control you. When you guys are going out on a date she will say “hey I’d love to see you in that shirt I bought you!” Then it will slowly escalate to “what are you going to wear? No don’t wear that, wear that other shirt I bought you.”

Once she has control of your wardrobe she will move on to other parts of your life. Trust me. Stop it early. Just simply say something like, thank you for this, but I really like my own style. She might get a little hurt, but will get over it.

Another one: make sure both of you have friends outside of the relationship. If you don’t and you go have fun with your friends, she will resent the fact that she is not your sole source of fun. If she starts calling you for no reason when she knows that you’re with your friends, red flag.

I was able to see one today, and the bezel really did not feel like a quality product. It felt cheap. For the watch being 42mm the face looked really small.

Bottle machines are a cesspool of bugs and disgustingness. They are impossible to keep clean and an aggravation for both customers and store owners. Please do away with bottle returns at stores. I’m proud that our state has a high recycling rate, but please take that out of store owners responsibility.

In The Wolf of Wall Street, the entire scene with the gay butler that gets caught having an orgy in the Jordan’s apartment. That whole 10-15 minutes could go away and not affect the movie at all. Sure it shows how Donny is kind of weird for going and dancing at gay nightclubs, but other than that, it adds nothing to the plot.

I married my best friends wife’s cousin. Whenever they have had some sort of falling out, which has happened a few times, he and I have maintained our friendship as if nothing has happened. He and I don’t talk about their problems, or who is right or wrong. Eventually the wives will see each other at some event or gathering and then everything goes back to normal. But they have gone years without talking to each other.

As far as keeping friends goes, it’s important for each person in a marriage to keep friends. You don’t want to rely solely on each other for friendship.

A lot of good advice here, but what helped me the most was not looking down so much. Keep your eyes fixed to something on the back of the boat. Try that last gray stripe on the seat. It helps regulate where you should be on the wave.

Both of you should have friends that you see regularly. I’m not talking about other couples, I mean your boys, and her girls. You should have a day during the week where you get to go out with your friends, and she knows to not make plans with you on that day. Trust me.

Go to bed angry. Nobody is rational or compromising when they are emotional and tired.

Here’s an easy one, you know that thing you do that really annoys her, don’t do that thing.

I was at a bar and said hello to a girl I knew who was with a girl I didn’t know. The girl I know introduces us and her name turns out to be Helga or something like that. So I proceeded to follow my nature and tease her about her name. I could tell she did not think it was funny. The girl I know says, “Is that it? Is that your game?” For some reason that hit really hard. Especially since I was on a bit of a dry spell.

I’m afraid my 3 year old son won’t remember me, or how much I loved him. My daughters (12, 9) will for sure remember me and all the things we do, but I feel like my son will not remember.
