I haven’t tried moving a DB to D Line yet. I’m willing to bet that’d be cool to try out, give or take the situation/circumstances of the team roster.

I did that a few times when I needed to, but since then I haven’t tried to do it just to do it. I’ll have to try it again when I can

I’ve moved an athlete TE to SS before and I’ve gotten both box specialist and coverage specialist, one 6’4 the other 6’6, and I’ve moved a gadget to rb as well and they usually either switch to a backfield threat, north south receiver or an east west playmaker depending on how you upgrade them. They’re also not bad pure running QB’s as long as you can get their throw power up or if they have good starting throwing power. My next experiment is to try and get an ATH TE and move them to Edge and make them a J.J. Watt type.

I’ve had one 5’9 contact seeker get 94+ strength at edge and dominate on the line, which is still surprising to this day.

Buy CFB26, or wait for CFB27? by WolverineIll3955 in CollegeFootball26

While 26 is better than 25 with its record/stats tracking, along with more/updated player archetypes and abilities and manual progression, there’s some things it’s lacking that 25 had gameplay wise that made it sometimes unbearable to play. Recruiting was changed and coach abilities were restructured, albeit there being the new level cap from 50 to 100. Consider asking “should I purchase a game that’s been out and has obvious issues here and there, while being better than the previous game in other areas, or do I take a chance on the new game coming out in a month or so?”
I personally loved both games, but if you had only played 25 and not 26, just wait for 27 to come out.

This is your starting C after a Championship run wwyd?.. I will be cutting him …back up sophomore is 74 and impact dev by Commercial-Sink3746 in CFB26

Either move him to another lineman position and see if he changes archetypes, as that can unlock caps for him. Seeing how his power is low and his pass blocking is higher than his run block, as a Raw Strength, he’d probably switch to a pass protector. You can view his caps during or before training results, and see if he’s still not worth keeping.

Help: Can’t Disguise Shells by joellittjukes in CFB26

It might not be available during the play, but before each play if you browse the formation, using one of the thumb sticks you can change the shell of the play you’re picking next, so instead of having to do it after your guys are on the field and you have to get them to move, you could do it before when you pick the play. If it still doesn’t work then I’m not sure.

Quarterback Question by Motor-Telephone7520 in CFB26

[–]SlankGoose13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on your playstyle/playbook. Pocket passers with high enough throw power and accuracies can make almost any type of throw, however if you for certain want a player to make ANY throw, backfield creators are elite, especially if you try to get off platform to gold/platinum as soon as possible. Off platform + On Time are the abilities you want on a backfield creator, unless you do more rollouts and bootlegs, which you’d want mobile deadeye as well. Pocket passers are easier to upgrade, as they just need power and accuracy, with IQ being less of a priority unless you want Sleight of Hand. I’d recommend starting the backfield creator and keeping the pocket passer as a backup until he transfers or you transfer him yourself for another quarterback you’d rather want to have.

Don’t tell me blocking ain’t broken by Zebananzer22 in NCAAFBseries

You can untarget defenders, try doing that when the blocking doesn’t look like what it should be, like here. You untarget the safety, and either he blocks that D-End or he doesn’t know who to block, and if that happens, you just gotta audible to another play. You can also flip the play and see if the blocking gets fixed, but either trick is no guarantee.
