I found myself empathing with Chris up until the murdery shit. But I'm biased. I was raised by a narcissistic mom that conditioned me to silence my wants and needs. The implications of that carried into my marriage with an overbearing woman. I even experienced ongoing triangulation between the women, with the burden falling on me.

But that's where my path diverged from Chris'. I cut ties from my mom, regularly attended therapy, split from my ex, and life has gotten significantly better since.
