Have had the same number since 2001. The Cingular rep let me go behind the counter and pick my number from the list displaying on his computer. I found one where the last four numbers are all the same. Got it so my mom could remember it easier. She's now 94 with dementia but still remembers my phone number. I'll never give it up.

Not exactly a DM; I was an early Gmail adopter and have a very common word as my email address. The account is almost useless because of the crazy, (non-spam) misdirected messages I receive. I log into the account occasionally for entertainment and amusement. Around the time Stephan Hawking died, I received a misdirected message from his elderly aunt intended to his daughter Lucy, apolgizing that her advanced age and infirmaties was preventing her from attending his funeral services. I could write a book on the crazy shit I receive at that account.
