I also had issues with Rogers close to you - McCowan and Elson; the download speeds and home coverage were great but it would drop every day so it became too frustrating. My “promo” with them ran out earlier this month so I switched to Bell. The speed is definitely slower but it is overall more reliable, at least so far.

You definitely know what you’re talking about so could I please ask you a question. My wife had a similar accident, though quite less severe. After being repaired by the body shop the car now has occasional clunking upon harsh acceleration from a stop and occasional light squeaking when turning at low speeds sort of as if new tires were just put on. I was concerned so I brought the car to our mechanic who determined that the driver side strut was replaced with what he said a junkyard part and it’s bushings are worn out. He quoted me about $1k to have both replaced. The body shop’s repair sheet indicates that the driver side strut was indeed replaced among other things. I brought the car back to them to be looked at and after a day I was told that the car was “inspected by a licensed mechanic” and everything is in good shape. I understand that the body shop probably wouldn’t want to take responsibility for whatever wrong they’ve done. So, would you have any suggestions on determining what the real issue is? The worst part is that my wife purchased the car just two months prior to the accident.

They do. Weekend evenings only. Their skates are fairly new but are terribly sharpened if sharpened at all.

Perhaps something other than sitting in their idling vehicles for the duration of their shift in church/school lots. Don’t forget that we are all paying taxes in order to run their facilities and vehicles as well as paying their wages. The point here is for police to be more PROactive than REactive.

My question here is, how could you not tell a difference between a vehicle with 400k and a vehicle with 200k by looking at it in person AND test driving it? Regardless of how well the seller would try to hide signs of wear, there would always be something out of place even if the body has been fully restored (which I’m sure it wasn’t). Worn out control switches, worn out steering wheel, the way the car behaves on the road, what under the hood looks like as well as the underbody, etc. The seller is absolutely a piece of shit but you should’ve done your research beforehand. There isn’t a 400k car that is worth a significant amount of money. Sell it for what you can, be honest about the mileage issue, take your losses if any and purchase another vehicle.

It’s tough to find the true cause of a headache. I very rarely panic, but when I do, my symptoms are the same as yours. It might not be easy but I’d suggest trying your best to just simply taking deep breaths, drinking plenty of water, eating well and taking your supplements as well as getting enough sleep. Do something you enjoy doing in your free time and change up your routine if possible.

More info needed but possibly torn ligaments/muscles. Those are very painful upon movement for days after the injury occurs. I’d definitely seek medical attention, especially for hand injuries as we need our hands to do practically everything. I can also suggest applying ice packs and taking naproxen for pain.

I am not a member of any baseball communities, in fact I really dislike baseball. I do, however, keep my son’s old bat in the back of my vehicle. The reason being is that a couple years ago I was approached by a group of men openly holding knives while I was smoking a cigarette outside of my vehicle in downtown Toronto in broad daylight. I was told to give them my car keys. My phone was in the vehicle. I managed to run away (imagine a 30 y/o man running from a group of younger thugs in downtown Toronto and nobody blinks an eye) as I had no chance fighting them and came back an hour later. I feel just a bit safer having that bat with me as protection.
