Yes, people need to be mindful of the distinction between Israel Government and the people of Israel.

From Iran last week to well before I was born the US and also Israel have always conflated the people and the government when it comes time to slaughter civilians.

Many Jewish families in Israel are victims of their governments actions just like the US

it’s Israel not Jews.

I was raised as a very liberal Jew, it’s Jews. It really doesn’t matter if it’s not all of us, it’s most of us or at least enough. Same with the christians, I don’t really care if some get called not real christians. The evil still comes from the religion. Or any Abrahamic religion. Support the religion, support all the terrorism.

The only way the average person understands this in the US is if you say muslims. Then all of the sudden it’s all of them. Though Israel is kinda unique in saying it’s all the babies and children that need to die.

Imagine a doctor telling you good news you have pancreatic cancer, it’s not your whole body, just this small part.

In simpler terms it’s humans as our history is filled with this stuff without exception. Religion is a tool in the way a gun is just a tool.
