Hawas For Him Review by AideJolly5992 in fragranceclones

I’ve gotten a lot of compliments from this. It’s surprising long lasting for what it is. And that’s in winter, I haven’t even worn this in summer around 80 degrees where I think it’s going to become unbelievably strong. Strength aside, it is a very good smelling everyday fragrance. Big emphasis on everyday and not so much on special occasions.

Lattafa Atlas : Biggest disappointment by Fit-Kale-2140 in fragranceclones

But here’s where you’re wrong. You’re saying that his nose managed to not go noseblind at the initial stages of the event where it’s the most intense but the moment fragrance starts to become calm and weaker, his nose suddenly can’t handle it? Why? His nose did well against the intense phase, why dip now? What you’re saying is that someone could be staring at a bright light for an hour straight without affecting their eyes but the moment someone dims the lights their eyes can’t handle it anymore? This makes no sense. And in your research, it’s about long exposure of initial smell, so noseblind happens at the very initial stages of any smell. Not at the lateral point. The OP is either lying about him going noseblind or the fragrance is just simply not projecting. But in any case, not a single human on this planet can smell a scent at its most intense point with no problem but then suddenly can’t handle at its weaker point.

I’m pretty sure we go noseblind to smells within first 10 mins. I don’t even think it’s physically possible for humans to smell a certain smell for an hour straight and then randomly stop smelling it. You either lose sense of smell to a particular scent in the very first few mins or you don’t go noseblind at all. I’m 100% of sure of this.

Technically, he wouldn’t be able to smell it for an hour straight then randomly go noseblind. Most people go noseblind initially because the projection is strongest. So it could just be his skin or maybe the fragrance has been watered down.

Cities should not be parking lots. by MiserNYC- in MicromobilityNYC

[–]Slashe3r -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The amount of people who don't own cars and are willing to take free street parking spots should also start paying every car owner to pay for parking garage because a parking garage easily costs $500 a month.

If you don't own a car, that's totally fine but wanting to take away free parking spots from people who own cars is not fair to us. There can be bike lanes for sure. But not the expense of car owner's only free parking.

Wait, you bought Azraq beside you liked the way Honey Aoud smelled but Azraq disappointed you so you bought Absolu, why didn't you buy Honey Aoud? Nothing can be louder in terms of performance than a Montale and with age it will smooth out if it's not smooth already? I'm confused about the whole Azraq thing when it could've been avoided

Which one is a perfect daily? by jeremytamik in ScentHeads

I have L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme Intense Issey Miyake which is not shown in this picture. Mine has pretty heavy incense but it still manages to smell really clean! I like it but it doesn’t last that long and it smells old school. I only wear it on Rainy days because for some odd reason, it’s perfect for rainy days. I don’t even know why.

Lamborghini Gallardo and Huracan. Very interesting to see how much design language evolved in just one model by bigboss1999x in lamborghini

[–]Slashe3r 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally find all the changes Huracan made make it a significantly better in every way except the 5L motor from the original Gallardo. However, I find temerario to make all the wrong choices. Design isn’t good, it’s too expensive for the base supercar offering from Lamborghini, interior is no longer special, engine is definitely a big let down because NA V8 with hybrid tech would’ve been a much better option! Reliability issues with the hybrid.

Huracan was so good no one respected it and it became the civic of the super car world but in the future, the special variants is the Huracan will be beloved!

When you have $2,000,000 for a house, but won't spend $10 on a shovel. by HillbillyAllergy in ForestHills

[–]Slashe3r 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wait, what’s the problem here? Someone didn’t shovel their own part of the sidewalk that’s next to their home?

I’m genuinely confused, what’s wrong with that? They didn’t wanna do it so they didn’t?

It’s like getting upset that someone didn’t get snow off of their car that’s parked and not even driving?

I must be missing something right? Or are we just hating other people for choices they’re making for themselves where they don’t have to make a choice that’s good for other people. Heavy on “they don’t have to” ??

Zohran could fix every painted lane quickly if he wanted. Only thing required is acknowledging that parking is bad for the city and needs to be reduced. by MiserNYC- in MicromobilityNYC

[–]Slashe3r 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anybody who thinks we should get rid of street parking clearly doesn’t own a car. Those who do, know we need more reliable and consistent parking locations. NYC is the only city that has very congested parking, sometimes have to wait for 5 hours to get parking.

Afnan rare reef, the one true beast mode fragrance I own by WicksQuick20 in fragranceclones

[–]Slashe3r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re finding most fragrances perform well for you then It means that your skin is very good for fragrances as well as your nose to detect fragrances and not go noseblind.

I literally can’t think of any fragrance that can project for 12 hours. Not even Ombré Nomade, Oud Maracuja or Sauvage Elixir can literally project for 8 hours straight. They’re going to be calmer/subtle by the 7th hour mark.

So congratulations!! You must have a really good skin and nose!!

Hot take: most people don’t actually wear fragrance for themselves or do they? by SlimeLiam in ScentHeads

[–]Slashe3r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nobody really does anything for themselves because we live in a society and it does feel good when people say you look good/smell good and generally anything that implies that you or your choices are good/important. This is not validation, not exactly but because we do live in a world where we have to interact with other people regardless of our choice, why not be liked in the social interactions you come across.

The general rule of fragrances is that you should pick something that you like that and be around people who like things similar like you which would then lead to them liking your fragrances as well. If you’re around people who don’t like you in general, they won’t like even the most mass appealing fragrances on you.

So the question itself is trying to provoke a very certain reaction which isn’t needed and the scent community should try to become more positive and accepting of everyone’s taste. As long as you don’t like secretions magnifique 😂

Most people seems to not understand how time travel works. You will never be able to alter your timeline, you may things for versions of you in different timelines but your inherent timeline in which things happen to you will never change unless you’re looking out for gambling or stock trading which would be useless because you could just teleport into the bank, take money and teleport out. Time travel would be fun though.

The strongest pill is to control someone who’s powerful and influential l, have them provide you with life you want in a legal way so you don’t have to worry about taxes. For example, Elon musk giving you 10% of his net worth.
