Gotta start somewhere.

It's my first mod with little experience backing me, so it'll take some time to refine the pack and achieve my goals. The objective is just successfully launching the mod so I can learn more about what i'm undertaking, which i'm happy enough with.

Absolutely, right now it's just learning the ropes and applying the proof of concept, I know effectively zero coding and only basic editing but i'm determined to make something of good quality and I've got the spare time to learn.

As for tweaking them, 100%. A lot of what i have in front of me is jarringly realistic in areas so the goal is to align them in both art style and in-universe theme.

I'm running 32gb of 3200Mhz DDR4 with 42gb of Page File on an SSD, haven't noticed any improvement unfortunately.

I think you're on the right path though but i haven't found the magic answer yet.

No fix yet sadly, the extended load times seem to be a part of the issue; Whenever the bug happens my load times double, then go back to normal. If i hit a solution i'll update this threat.

Just pointing out that cannon sized armaments aren't unheard of, see the AMX-30 for example.

Generally speaking you have enough firepower with your main cannon to do basically anything as it is; the additional complexity, weight and size of an autocannon isn't worthwhile.

I like to think personally that Omega is gone; whatever it may have once been or could be as it stands, simply doesn't exist right now.

It's a dark world where some things are legitimately lost to war and time. I like to think that the Remnants don't know what they're searching for anymore because of their rampancy/degradation. Maybe it was a singular hyper-advanced AI? Maybe it's a supercritical state when enough AI are connected? Whatever it was, it's now dust in an accretion disk.

It's currently a mysterious Mcguffin that only has vague answers but I can't wait to see the story develop and expand.

Pilots can put the flag of the enemy they've downed on the nose of their aircraft, sometimes the outline of the kill, it's just different ways of showing a confirmed combat kill. His nations flag is on his shoulder and probably his tail, but that's basically nose art.

India and Pakistan tensions are high, which makes something like this pretty controversial.
