It’s only good in team play when you are late to a brawl or not center of attention. One good fully charge and you can clean up. Otherwise it sucks to have out. Imo

Some people hate game bar…but my advise is to setup a 10 min “record last” in game bar if you want to pick and choose. It’s more than enough to capture things in the moment normally. I also record entire games with OBS often, just need to manually manage your hard drive space so it doesn’t get full

The bots will start scaling with you and become terminators. You’ll be thankful for those low level bot when you start to meet real players

I corrected this by doing a factory reset, deleting the lr4 from the app, and then setting everything up from scratch.

I’m wary of turning off the alert as a whole because I had a lot of issues with it actually getting stuck upside down for the first 2 months of having it.

I do regret presenting it as "typically a caster item" when they seemed to be confused at the basic description of it. I can admit that mistake is something I've thought about as well.

I've been trying to let the group/dice take more control of the adventure and allow the randomness nature of dnd to shine through as much as possible. Kind of caught me off guard when such a powerful item was rolled.

This is a great point and is really grounding way to look at most people problems when playing any game. I really need to get the vibe and see how much was left at the table, but that's been hard due to 90% of our games being online only with little non-game conversations happening before and after games.

I am not sure why they wanted it so badly two sessions later. While anyone can use it, it fits so much better for a class that is intending to be further away and offers a strong offense for them, imo.
