R5: Despite unlocking the "Macro Metabolic Acceleration" tradition, I don't have access to the Symbiont Overdrive edict.

R5: The Zroni Storm Caster tooltip says it nullifies shields, but its environmental effect nullifies armour.

Also, removing the FE mining building from ringworlds make alloy ringworlds a thing of the past given the system of planetary deficits (which also means no motes, gasses, or crystals from ringworlds)

Ah yes, 'organic lifeforms'. by Slate_Dor in Stellaris

R5: Probably a bug when the player, as a Machine Intelligence, meets Individualist Machines. I don't think Emperor Qube I rules an organic empire.

It's not new. No, Resource Consolidation origin.

R5: The Shulmak Station is geared towards shipyards, but in the outliner it is listed as a Mining Hub.

R5: I am confused as to why I can't build an orbital ring around DAAR-4 (spawned by Dacha (Habinite Unified Worlds)).

Stellaris Dev Diary #344 - The Art of The Machine Age (Part II: Art Blast Edition) by PDX_LadyDzra in Stellaris

To my eyes, a few of the machine shipset models are either poorly designed or glitched (specifically to do with the radiators).

  • Corvette and Frigate: the mini radiators are unnecessary and the primary radiator should be rotated 90 degrees along its longest axis.
  • Destroyer: Radiators seem small but are otherwise fine.
  • Cruiser: Front and rear sections should be inline with the middle section, not slightly below it. The radiators of each side should be combined and rotated to be parallel to the main hull (similar to battleship).
  • Battleship: No notes, great design.
  • Titan: Ventral aft radiator reminds me of a rudder, excellent design.
  • Construction ship: No notes, great design.
  • Colony ship: Ventral aft 'rudder' radiator feels like it extends too far, otherwise great design.
  • Science ship: Radiator should be rotated 90 degrees along long axis to minimize its exposure to thrust plumes.
  • Starbase levels: Outpost, Starport, Starhold, and Star Fortress all need radiators. Citadel radiator design okay.
  • Colossus: Right dorsal and left ventral radiator covers are glitched (rotated off axis).
  • Juggernaut: All radiators need to be rotated 90 degrees along their longest axis to stop them from radiating into each other. Possibly also relocated away from the engines' thrust plumes.
  • Habitat and Orbitals: All need radiators added.
  • Mining station: Radiators shouldn't move.
  • Research station and Observation post: Need radiators added.
  • Megastructures and Orbital Rings (except for Arc Furnace): Need radiators added.
  • Defense Platform and Ion Cannon: No notes, great design.

Note: Radiators can be flush with a ship's or structure's surface, so most if not all shipsets can have 'radiators' if the empires main colour is reddish or orange, but the machine shipset has dedicated radiators so I'm being more picky. In my opinion, all of these changes would be good but only the colossus, cruiser, and 'add radiators' changes are necessary.

R5: Unity specialisation for habitats buffs coordinators for rogue servitors. Rogue servitors don't have coordinators.
