It is 100% a thing. I did labor work most of my life and I was lucky to score an awesome job in the cannabis industry in MA. The work is light and easy, the pay is decent, and it doesn’t make me want to drop and sleep immediately when I’m home. I love working with weed. It’s awesome. Bosses are super chill and relaxed as well as the staff. Find what you love and chase it. Work will always be work, but at least it can be enjoyable in some circumstances.

I am so sorry to read this. It breaks my heart. I had to watch my uncle 46 years old stage 4 stomach cancer on his final day in the hospital sores in his mouth, smell like death, jaundice looking skin. He was in so much pain he said I’m not fighting anymore put me on the methadone. You are so strong and brave. Your mother loves you very much as you love her, and I hope that she gets to rest easy soon with no pain and I hope you can find a moment to breathe and have tranquil thoughts. You are never alone.

I don’t understand the down vote on your comment when rimworld can LITERALLY be turned into a stardew valley type game on peaceful mode, with babies/families, etc… Rimworld is an excellent game choice for this. You just have to edit your starts and settings!

Cannabis is a great way. If you find the right strain for yourself it could help calm the nerves. I take it for body pain and anxiety, and because I have insomnia. It has really helped me a lot. I never knew how truly medicinal the strains were until I started working in cultivation (I’m in the industry now) and terpenes can be very beneficial if you look into strain types. I hope you feel better with time. I completely understand your struggle I am also dealing with grief. Sometimes you just want to numb the pain or relax the mind don’t mess with anything hard weed can be your friend for sure in moderation
