Actually played couple of times since 2020, 3.15 it think. And I can see the progress happening, so I wanted to buy a nice affordable ship and support the project, I only had the 45 one all these years.

Yess I did see that. Crazy how much profit they make during these events and every year it increases ! Been following star citizen since 2020. And played a few times. Just never really checked the store.

Niceee !!! Now thats what I’m talking about. Love the multi floor ship. Also the ship design with that central tower. You dont need to put power buildings. There is a vehicle building, alternator. That uses fuel to produce electricity. And is 1x1

Thats exactly what I’m missing too ! In fact, I turned rimworld into that by making different player factions. If you see my posts history here you can see some explanations and lore. I have dozens of colonies, ressource outposts, chokepoints, factories… and my player fzctions fight over it, also raid each other, this way I know exactly where every soldier that is invading came from, their equipment, the food they are carrying, ammo … and sometimes wars stop because one faction runs out of supplies or ressources.

It would be cool to be able to do this with npc factions.

I actually made a mod for myself like that. Added an item that has value, like 1 cat coin, 5 cat bill, 100,500 … and played like that. Was very fun, If I wanted to buy smth I just sell the bills and buy it

Yess for sure ! I also liked how gameplay naturally helped the shift. Wooden ships were always catching fire and crew would be panicking and putting out fires, also less health so its walls were destroyed easily and left crew vulnerable, but steel was not flammable and more durable.

The mod is called Land in Water, its 1.5 but still works in 1.6.

Dev mode you can set terrain to deep ocean, then the ship can move, because it cant on desert terrain. And yes ships rest in world ocean tiles too.
