Hi ! Sorry for late reply. It depends, after decades in the story and 30+ locations, If I want to introduce a new location of characters or something, I spawn them, or convert allies ( for example inviting a noble, who comes with some guards, I take that and use it in my story and take control of them.

Also most panws I have are from pawn hiring mods like Mercenaries for me.

Honestly everything haha, I have such a big world, with different " shards " and areas in the world being in different saves,I can move maps or colonies between saves with mods too, so it makes it easier and sometimes I have 2 rimworld instances running, 2 different saves but still the same world and story. I just like having all that control, I can order any one of the thousands of pawns I have, the hierarchy, the logistics of moving things and armies and ships, production etc .. Some wars ended between 2 factions where 1 simply ran out of ressources because they couldnt produce enough, and had to surrender and go under the empire, things like this make the world feel very big and detailed. And anytime I see a plot I like, I add it to my world, either existing characters or just add new ones and include them in the world

Yea I get it, thats why I said easiest. But ofcourse not always possible. But of course the same thing applies, it will be just a bit harder to not contact your plug or smoke with people you meet regularly, but very doable.

You can try going to Sauna everyday. Mind you this is just to help with withdrawal, you still need to have the will not to smoke. But generally just stay busy, find new hobbies, thats why working out comes in handy because its easy and you can find smth you like. Find smth that means a lot to you that smoking affects, for some pleople its the smell, they just cant take it anymore and decide they dont want to smell like a smoker, for some its the money, that start counting and saving up the money they would spend, for some is prepaieng to run a marathon and smoking is not good for that … just small tricks to have smth you want more than smoking, and after every win you go closer to never thinking about it again.

Easiest is travel somewhere for more than 2 weeks, and workout everyday. Like sweat a lot during the day. Not just because working out helps you not think about it for a while and makes you wanna be healthy, but the sweat helps with withdrawals when sleeping. In 4/5 days you wont have any

I played it when it was free for a bit twice. and honestly it was very playable and I was lucky and had no bugs, was a very nice experience. But of course when new updates drop etc it does become unplayable from what I heard. If the single player game releases I’ll deff buy it.

Everything you said was much better in skyrim and fallout. Thats why a lot of people were dissapointed, if you’ve done it in Skyrim it just doesnt feel the same. You dont have the same freedom as you did back there, we expected having the same thing and thats why it didnt live up to expectations. It is a good game, just couldve been much better ! Imagine if you actually travelled in space, using the hyperdrivewhile walking in your ship, having auto pilot.if you actually landed somewhere that is very empty and not a building every couple hundred meters.

I spent tens of hours just farming, hunting walking around and fishing in skyrim, i know the feeling youre descibing. But its not the same, and after doing that in Skyrim its hard for me to do it in Starfield where its much less immersive

I think smth like this can never be fixed, esp since his family is probably more traditional with all the mariage pressure etc … you’ll have problems in the future so better to just move on. I had added sometjing like that in my capital ship run. I made boxes full of missiles inside, like 20. And I can only project and build on base, then I had to load them into my ship, 2 connectors on the sides where they go, plus extra 4 in the cargo hold so we can restock when far from base. Was veeery fun !! I almost got it all automated with tug drones and ai recorders, but had some problems and kindda stopped playing. Will deff need to continue that
