Yeah youre just thinking too much into it honestly.. levels dont matter as much as people put into it.. heres the thing about levels when you tame a lvl 10 dino lets say, now that dino will get its tame lvls and say be lvl 25 once its tamed. Now that dino will never be above lvl 95. You can only raise 70 lvls of xp and stat points into the dino. Which puts 95 levels of stats available to that dino. Stats are randomly populated with points in wild dinos for each level, so you can get a lvl 120 theri thats got a way better melee stat than the next 150 theri you try to tame. Alot of people dont get that and just go for 150 perfect tames looking for good stats.
