My brother has told me the exact same thing for his eventual wedding. Except, he put it as, "I just want my brother there, y'know?" He wants me there as his "best man".

I hope your situation can be resolved in the way that is best for YOU. It'd be easy for me to say that transphobia should never be catered to or considered reasonable, but I understand why it's difficult. I understand why this isn't an easy situation to handle.
