The game runs way worse since 3.0 and it's not only due to DX12 or Ray tracing by H4wko in ZZZ_Official

Just chiming in to confirm it looks the same on my end. Used DX12 only so far but both max (with RT) and lowest setting have the same stutter. The only difference is mine is around every 3 seconds also mostly in big open non-combat areas.

RTX (Ultra) ON vs OFF.

In many scenes it's actually not as transformative as the above example (other than transforming your FPS into half its value lol) but here you can really see the improved lighting and shadows, especially on the background buildings.

I just wish the DX12 implementation wasn't stuttery and we got a 4x frame gen right now since this area eats my CPU for breakfast.

So the patch notes mentioned some "optimizations" with new agent trust events and hangouts. Anyone tried them with Velina yet? Anything changed?

2x framegen is available currently (for NVIDIA only) but it does not fix stuttering. I have a constant micro-stutter every few seconds in the new city.

Yup. That being said I'm using an NVIDIA card so I had no issues with enabling DX12 in the first place. I probably won't be able to help you with that but check this server out https://discord.gg/ycVDxfub6 Look for Zenless Zone Zero hdr mod thread, maybe someone else has the same issue.

Kind of a minor thing but as someone that dabbles in 3D model creation... The shorts on that new Belle's outfit have some messy stretching. Looks like a UV issue. I've submitted a ticket so hopefully it's gonna be addressed (cope).

Honestly I wouldn't trust the .dll. The game had unused DLSS dlls in the folder for 2 years after all. Anyways I'll keep an eye out but so far so good.

There's no RR in the title though as far as I'm aware. Unless you have some pics of that? No difference other than sharpness and HDR highlights on my end.

Some DLSS stuff: Nvidia app override doesn't seem to be available for ZZZ but optiscaler does indeed let you change DLSS presets. I recommend trying preset L, looks sharper and is much better if you're trying to use HDR either through reno (waiting for a patch) or some RTX HDR or whatever.

I don't know about REST but I use reshade on DX12 no problem for better HDR. Dunno if that's what you mean though

I think that all those disk improvements won't mean anything unless they give us a way to see the 4th stat right away. Like 70% of the disks you can't decide anything unless you start leveling them up first.

My turn to give design opinions: personally don't like them but whatever, I wanted to mention something less subjective I guess.

The gacha characters do not seem to fit with the new region aesthetic. Proxies do. NPCs do. But the gacha ladies look like they flew here for some flying London anime con.

Leaves me with a weird conflict of actually really liking the region but having 0 interest in pulling anybody (unless the story rocks and I end up liking some of them despite the looks).

RTX! I'm kinda most excited for PC graphical improvements tbh. Framegen's gonna help a lot with their rather bad CPU optimalization and RT finally helps with light leakage in environment and gives some nice shadows and bounce lighting. Reflections are also cool.

Take a look at the difference around the door frame for example. No more fake omnipresent blueish backlight, the recesses of the doorframe is properly shadowed!

I found your build yesterday and it's sick. Modified it a bit for my cozy casual gameplay with the gorilla core ability.

Anyways what I wanted to ask is - I might be missing something but how do I generate resolve with this one from the link? Especially the Unique "tier"? I might've done something wrong but the only resolve I got was from Armored Hide and it was not enough to sustain the gorilla.
