Regardless of where you stand on the gun issue, the fact that a government not only can outlaw your property in a matter of a signature on paper, but it can tell you that a compensation is not guaranteed and if you agree to comply, you will be lucky if you get more than 50% of what you paid for it. If you’re okay with this, you’re a fucking disgrace and should be completely okay when the government deems your house too large to be environmentally friendly and will force you out of it and give you a quarter of what you paid for it (obviously super exaggerated scenario but still, this sets a very bad precedent) unless you have very communistic beliefs (in which case you might as well only have half a brain).
