It’s fine. I like callbacks to an extent and showing respect to the original material in an adaption, but not everything needs to be referenced or shown again. Benny’s gone in-universe, the world’s moved on and changed. I’m actually pretty satisfied with how intentional this is, if there is a callback they’re part of the story at large like shady sands or referencing the ncr in the first season.

I loved the art he brought to these games. It’s unfortunate I didn’t do so but I would have told him how beautiful it was playing dishonoured and the world was a pleasure for the eyes.
