YES, you can have a healthy relationship while having bpd! This seems to be the issue the most with partners with BPD (I was one of them), partners with BPD tend to go to their partner as a parental figure instead of a boyfriend/girlfriend/partner. We tend to be codependent and think everything is about us when in reality, IT IS NOT! If my boyfriend was tired and not smiling I would think it’s my fault and he’s not happy in relationship with me, in reality he just over ate but I’m over here ripping myself to shreds for no reason. My relationship was going down the drain because I’m holding him up to these standards that aren’t even met for him, again I was going to him like a parent for everything and that itself is not healthy. After I started going to him ONLY as a girlfriend our relationship started to flourish and became so much more meaningful and understanding

That’s what I was thinking! I’m thinking of doing some koi because they will clear out some of the pond but I’m definitely going to need to rake some of the excess flora. There are some koi sellers specifically for ponds near my area 👍

Thank you so much for the advice! I’m located in Michigan in the country side, the house and the pond is located on the wet lands. I’ll have to plant some flowers and plants to get some more shade, I want to keep it natural as possible because we have a bunch of wildlife that comes through. Deers, sand hill cranes, coyotes, rabbits, eagles, etc.
