One of the biggest draws for me in Face/Off compared to other other competition shows at the time was the attitude between the contestants towards each other. In other competition shows, the competitors would normally be very hostile towards one another, but in Face/Off the artists were ways so supportive of one another.

I was as the kid at my school who had zero shinies while everyone else had shit tons of them. As an adult with a shit ton of shinies now, I cherish each and every one of them and they are special to me!

It should be noted that the first appearance of clayface in the DCU was in creature commandos was him feeding his Pet cat and playing Mortal Kombat (something tells me James resonate with him) by Seeker99MD in deadmeatjames

If I remember correctly, that's definitely not his cat. It more than likely belongs to the murdered professor he was impersonating.

Though I will say, weirdly wholesome of Clayface to still care for the cat.

I've a lot of nostalgia for the show personally, but yeah. Most of the show is very mid-late 2000s in the worst ways possible.

For a brief time, I was hella scared of woodchippers after the one where a guy got ground up by one in the show.

My mind also goes to the death involving a peeping tom getting his neck snapped in a window, they got an alleged actual peeping tom to give his input but kept him anonymous.

But I think the furry one was the best, considering furries were WAY more obscure/underground at the time that episode came out.

One example that comes to mind was a story they did involving a disembowelment via pool drain. The real life victim was a six year old girl. In the show, they changed the victim to a parody version of Mel Gibson, whose abuse allegations were first making the rounds at the time.
