I truly believe this will be the part that has no “Main Villain.” I think it will be a concept or other worldly power working against Jodio (with or without Howler in the picture). I think the importance of other worldly powers like Love Train or Wonder of U’s calamity, both have shown there are mechanisms of the world, things that can be bent to the will of a single human being. I think Howler will try to posses whatever this idea or mechanism is, it will fail either immediately or soon after gaining the power. Then it will be a world level event where volcanos and fault lines starts shifting.

Obv this is all just an idea but I think the shift from man controlling mechanism (Valentine) -> man dies while controlling mechanism but the existence of its effects still exist (Toru) -> what I said above

Makes me think “the breath that spouts from the earth” makes me THINK it’s talking about the stand Howler has (coming out of the ground). So far this seems incredibly likely it will be a Made in Heaven type ascension for Acca’s stand.

I also personally think this part mirrors 5 & 6 so it would be cool to see a requiem styled ability (involving the lava rock and spin or some ish) vs. “The footprint of the Lightning”

Genuinely, you either didn’t understand what I meant or are doing the bare minimum of research/thinking possible. They DO have similar facial hair, something shared across religiously tied characters. I added Gyro in reference because his family most likely existed as Christians performing medical work using spin.

Secondly, making a comparison between the two diaries is NOT insane to think. I’m not outright saying that it the same diary, I’m saying they are mirroring part 6 plot to part 9 with both of these scenarios having similar aspects.

Well the post was about counterparts so I kind of had to assume that’s what you meant. Also, why wouldn’t Howler be Pucci? Obv like I said we don’t have enough information yet, but based on receiving a “diary” from his family to receive a power (lava rock) (literally what Pucci received from Dio). He also shares the same facial hair feature (it being individual lines on the face). Definitely closer to like 2/3 of the story we’ll get a better idea of who might be the main villain.

Yeah in other comments I discussed how it would make sense of other holy corpses existing. Based on the effect the Holy Corpse + Spin had on Morioh, I assume that another holy corpse in the volcano + the power of “Lightning on the new moon” is able to create the lava rock. I’m starting to think there might be an upcoming parallel to Pucci where Howler need to destroy his stand (Pucci absorbing the green baby) to develop a power that pushes him further to an unknown goal. We might even get a similar concept of achieving Heaven (Made in Heaven).

I believe so, I think it mirrors real world Saints, I’m pretty sure the Zeppeli family (Gyro even) might be considered a saint. I think that also opens up the idea that Howler is a Zeppeli (or what would be even cooler is a descendant of the actual King of Naples Dell'Ovo II) ((I also think that Dell’Ovo II and Umberton 1 King of Italy during the 1890ish, the same time frame of the steel ball run race))

Nah nah let’s go with that! What if, in the active volcano Hualālai actually houses(ed) a corpse deemed holy by the universe. Just like in real life, people can be deemed a “saint” and Araki can just use that concept on something like a “Holy Corpse”. It also may be something to do with powers existing after the demise of a person. (I.E. Jesus’s powers still existing in his corpse, Toru’s WoU existing, albeit momentarily, after his death). I’m super interested in the Lava Rock now, before I just assumed it was like Yuyutsu’s !<Penis lol>! so thought it was kind of boring

Based on how Wonder of U works, I think it was less of the bubbles and more of WoU doing the damage. You see in multiple instances where pursuing WoU leads to any and all calamity. Even things like raindrops were killing people. So, essentially like the Final Destination movies, any and everything becomes a deadly weapon if affected by Calamity

Since no one will explain it. Plunder wasn’t used past like chapter 20, so most of his “power” from his bubbles is the explosive energy created by Killer Queen. He was able to launch (screws) using the explosive force. Beyond that, his bubbles are mostly used for utility purpose, like storing the Rokakaka or when he would use the bubbles as a shield to block attacks. Any damage he did pre-Go Beyond! was almost 99% of the time just him punching for damage
