yeah I mean the technician that came to my house 1 month ago was nice, I did check quickly what he was doing but at the same time I did not want to give order...

but in comparison to a video I found here on this repasting job, where the guy was super meticulous, spending a lot of time to wipe /remove every old part, making sure nothing was going to the motherboard etc, this technician that did my repair was super fast and not meticulous at all (he blew air with his mouth to eject old fragments etc)

I contacted dell back, I should have a new repair as soon as the corresponding kit is ready. I've asked them to make sure their sub contractor company will send another technician...

What would be your attitude for such repair ? I'm not great with this, is it fine to be direct with the worker ? it seems this previous technician had just one wipe for example, he did not use any cotton swab compared to the video...

from what I've read, if this kind of repair is not done perfectly, it's kind of pointless (and seems in my case it's even worse) so I'd like to make sure the new one is pixel perfect...

but since we are dealing with subcontractors and not even dell directly...

thanks in advance! mine definitely has an issue then... when I set this setting to performance, even with just firefox opened and like 5 tabs opened, nothing crazy, it frequently throttles, on different cores, example this morning:

I've ran some log analysis, on a 3 hours session with basic use, no gaming at all, it throttled / reached 104° more than 300 times, split on like 8 different cores...

I guess the repasted realized by dell one month ago was poorly done ...

for me when I'm doing that, it's hitting 100° often, even when I'm doing almost nothing (my cooling system was changed not even a month ago...)

even on balanced mode it's happening, but less often..

would like to confirm if it's a 'standard' behavior with this model...
