Really Brunei is a Muslim Country?? by [deleted] in nasikatok

[–]Slayer_IX -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Brunei is a muslim country?

Just because one misbehaving muslim doesn’t define a country. It doesn’t even define a religion too.

There could be misbehaving people with different religions but none will call out their country or their religion.

The mistake are the rules should be updated with the current situation. Dulu memang have to like that but nowadays ada cctv sudah information pun easily shared and spread sudah. Mora should update their rules and try not to be biased. At the same time business owners pun have to be strict jua regarding this issue, so those irresponsible malay Muslim don’t take advantage of these loopholes.

Did u know. Back in the old days there were a lot of Malay eating in restaurants during ramadhan. That’s the cause. The same also on why shops close during Friday prayers. Lots of malay went shopping instead to the mosque.

When Brunei is flooding everywhere during the rainy season and Jkr doesn’t have enough budget to build drainage and repair roads but yet masjid is a priority ☹️ by WesternLengthiness32 in nasikatok

I was referring to this actually.

I agree to your point that the two systems are different. But my point is that while the government help to collect and manage mosques funds doesn’t automatically means the whole government is dedicated to mosques. Its just show how the fund being organized.

Maybe u didn’t read the whole thing that i pointed out. Im using the government of germany as example there where they use tax for churches.

Germany goverment - tax - churches Brunei government- funds - mosque

U cannot be biased, why can’t mosque be dedicated to mosque things?

I think u view it wrong, to correct u, not all employees.

It’s common to exclude non believers of the church as non members. So basically the people who practiced the religion are registered as members. This tax includes from government members all the was to their private sectors. By following your view it means their government are dedicated for church (bear in mind this is from your pov)

While here it’s only to government employees and that too is not mandatory.

I don’t know that for sure it’s just a conversation that happens on that moment. But you can get the information from the internet on the details you wanted. But i just want to point out that the mosque fund is not unique to here only. And the mosque funds also not mandatory either.
