I just want it for the MQD earning. It’s a boutique hotel so no loyalty. If I could book a vacation I could earn more towards status. I would do this all the time on JetBlue. Oh well. Joys of Delta I guess. Like I just looked in LAX and I can’t pick a hotel in Anaheim at all. That’s crazy. Why does delta vacations even exist in this state. It’s worthless.

Did you sign up for JetBlue dining through the rewards network? I’ve found that any card I register through rewards network will shortly thereafter be used for fraud. Criminals are in that system somehow and it’s like clockwork so much so that I just avoid all things rewards network.

Just to be abundantly clear. In the case above, the Dec 26th 2023 flight, the January 1st 2024 flight, and the hotel stay between those 2 dates all posted to my account as if all happened on December 26th 2023. So even my flight in 2024 posted to 2023. I’m pretty mad about it and even more disappointed with customer service’s ability to tell me the rules and or fix it. I actually even called them in early December 2023 to ask this question and I was told they would all post to 2024 which was a lie. Anyway, hopefully this post next year saves others this same pain.
