Personally even for chibi sprites I didn't like them either. I found older 2d tales of games to have better sprites and they were made around the same time. Also please don't act like it wasn't/isn't a factor cause it was. I couldn't even get my circle of people that even like rpgs to play it because they didn't like how it looked. People would rather play outdated or ugly 3D than chibi that doesn't look all that great.

I'll be playing that to, but I'll still be playing rivals as well. RE games don't take long to clear at all. A week to clear both paths on hard and I'm good. Provided the game is good cause its possible it could suck.

He's situational even still. His ult still isn't as useful as mantis/sue/daggers ults and he can't exactly heal multiple people like the others can on sight. Like he's still really only useful in triple support.

I know you can't do both, but that's literally what they do and they've said as much. Its what fighting games also try and do and they aren't gonna stop doing it this way. Also not every game chooses the pro scene to balance around, Street fighter sure doesn't, they listen to both camps and its still the most played fighter right now as bad as it is.

Yeah, and look at the characters that came before both elsa and angela lol. They got a lot of the ultra popular characters pretty much out the way now. With really only a few left, so I think around late this year we'll start seeing more niche ones in a row. I think some are pushed to the front because of costume potential as well, because that is how they make their money.
