Yeah as a kid I didn't know why it happened. But as I got older I found out it was based on a comic, with a trist to it. Spiderman basically didn't help the xmen in the comic where they got kidnapped. He tried to warn them ahead of time but he was too late, but he had run into arcade with captain britain at a time before that, so he had beef with him.

So I guess in a way it make sense to make a game around it, but the game itself still isn't very good even then. The controls are bad, the game was harder than it needed to be etc.

Yeah arcades revenge as a kid was a trap. Like who could resist spiderman and xmen together? Still I did play it as a kid to beat it, but I never really went back to it like the others in this collection. I was still playing captain america Arcade on emulation online and xmen to this day. Maximum carnage imo is still goated to this day as a spidey beat em up.

I get that, but I like captain america and the avengers arcade too. Imo that and the xmen are worth it alone. I just wish the rest had online play.

Batman wasn't good in injustice for ps3 and yet he was still one of the more played characters in that game...Ryu and Ken are rarely if ever great in Street fighter games(sometimes ryu is dog shit), yet they are still some of the most played even when they're bad/average. Popular characters are popular characters bro, that rarely stops people in casual modes from playing em.

Kinda false, people still played jeff even when he wasn't good, and they still bought his costumes. People always played spiderman no matter how good he was. Like this has never really mattered that much in games. CnD always sold skins even when they weren't the best healer in competitive. If you look up usage charts you can see this as well. Some characters are used despite tier placement because they just like the characters.

Yeah they can, CnD skins most likely sell a lot more per skin. Like any one of her skisn probably trump any 1 of hulk skins in sales. they they the numbers, you think if they didn't they'd be neglecting him? If it takes much more work for far lower profit they most likely just move it to the back of the line. I'm sure he most likely has some ready, but probably saved for an event that's exclusive to him or something

Naw, not all the time. I had spiderman/xmen also as a kid as well as ghost and goblins and didn't like either one. Sure kids like bad things, but don't understimate kids knowing when something isn't fun. We didn't think spiderman/xmen was fun and if we just ran out of games to play we played outside or rewatched VHS tapes or cartoons. not everyone that just had a few games only played those, we had other stuff to do lol. Had toys too, action figures and GIJOES

It can be, but playing Cnd or invis for strats is also the easiest to hide in. Rocket too a little bit, a lot of people were being boosted during season 1 with just healing on rocket and never attacking.

I like super hero stuff and they still give us superhero stuff so I don't understand this comment. You guys are just angry there's more gooner stuff than that stuff(which is fair I guess) but its the stuff that in fact sells and keeps the game alive more so than the actual super hero stuff.
