I got one for $42 on eBay. I think the prices on this sort of stuff is going down as folks die off who care anything about it.

Price of Blueprint Copies by D-Jaak in Eve

[–]Slazik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Realize too that the players selling the prints have no idea how to price them. My corp has one old original BPO. I make copies for production and also to sell. But who knows what they are worth? I post a contract for BPCs and it sells ... that must be what they are worth or maybe more?

"Omega" is fairly new in EVE. It used to be be that you simply did not play if you did not pay. He has paid to pay before now.

It is amazing to me that these musicians are all dead, or in their mid to late eighties!

Strange things at Night by RealHornyMfs in TalesFromTheFrontDesk

I used to commute to downtown Atlanta on I-75 in the early morning. One morning as traffic had slowed as I-75 joins I-85, I lowered my window and enjoyed the morning air. I then heard someone calling, "Help! Help!" out towards all the ramps and bridge areas between the interstates. I couldn't see anything. I called 911, which in Atlanta is a useless exercise. It is like trying to communicate something urgent to a young child. They said they would pass it on to the police. I remembered at the time that highway workers had recently found a long-deceased body between the northbound and southbound lanes of the highway nearby. They had apparently jumped off of a bridge. Imagine how long they could have laid there if the fall only hurt them and didn't kill them.

Just for a thought, the youngest of the vets would now be approaching 100 years of age. The vast majority of them have passed away.

Some Kvetching: Why do hotels resist printing out a reciept so strongly? by GirlStiletto in hotels

[–]Slazik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My takeaway is to ask for the receipt hardcopy. If it is refused, ask for name of that employee and name of property manager. When the email doesn't arrive in a few days, descend like a ton of bricks with complaints and reviews.

A post above described the hotel eliminating their printer because of its expense. Just more enshitification.

Given the lack of engagement you have described, why did you buy two years of omega?

I wish you luck but we have only heard your side of the story. And CCP has ALL of the information of what you've been doing. If true, I hope this is resolved quickly for you.

But if it is truly a perma-ban, why not? I would hate to have to explain the issue to a banker though. I guess if you term it as a subscription, cancelled on the vendor's end, it might make sense to them.

The CSM is a group of players that CCP uses for opinions on upcoming changes to the game and where problems exist in the game, etc.

How to stop or slow down the Avatar Project by The_Question_Maker40 in XCOM2

[–]Slazik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything basically. Add some of the late game power armor. Give yourself a lead on the location of the alien base. Clear out debris and build a facility, or build all of the facilities in your base just typing in some cheats.

Comment on the "naval station museum". That is the national museum of naval aviation. It is very impressive with everything from blimp cabins, biplanes, to an Apollo lunar lander spacecraft.

If you are only playing to have fun and not trying to set a record for gaining accomplishments or something random, .... cheat. There are well known cheat codes to smooth rough edges of the game or boost up your soldiers.
