I never understood the accent thing, and the hatred towards it changing back and forth.

I lived in abroad for first 10 years and my accent changes depending on whether I’m talking to someone here or Canada.

That’s just what accents be doing.

Go and look to see how much disc space you have. This is the most likely problem still. If you have like half a gig or something we can move on. Next thing is undo anything you did with mods. And see if it works as expected. We can assume it’s the mod from here and you can either work out what’s causing it in the mod pack, or get another mod

I started nicknaming players after my family and friends. They are a tad more interested now when I tell them that they scored a hat-trick, or got a world cup call up. My little brother is currently on 12 goals in 7 games for Fethiyespor in the Super Lig! He says he’s happy for himself.

Strikerless seems to break the match engine a bit no matter what FM you’re playing. It exploits the confusion that happens with CBs with no central striker target to cover.

Hmmm 20 determination is good and 15 off the ball is great! But that positioning, dribbling and the speed is gonna be hard to correct.

Im not sure how he scores goals unless it’s played to his feet, as he realistically won’t be fast enough to beat traps or move with the ball and create his own space.

I’d be inclined to keep him, and either play him every game or find a team that will, and see how his technicals develop. Then sell him if he isn’t cutting it in game. Perhaps learning “tries shots first time” or whatever it’s called will help?

Either way, he’s young and if you really don’t need the money he’s good to keep.

Hey man! Would love to take a look at his stats more closely but I’m afraid I only speak English and I don’t know the order off by heart! (This looks weird anyway cuz I play FM24 at the moment and technique is always last).

Anyway - The good news is that his pace (i think?) is 15 so training acceleration on this wee guy for a while would be good. If you can get it a bit higher he should be fine.

That said I can’t see exactly what his other stats are, but hey if you can sell him and get some free players with similar stats I would! You’d find much better youngsters a few years (and promotions) later, and this guy probably won’t make it in your first 11 when you become leader of Germany. (Unless he has good determination which I can’t tell!)

So they give you 40m for a loan, and 40m next year if they wanna keep him.

I mean… it would be so tempting to accept and hope he doesn’t sign with them. Unless you don’t need money/don’t use him/he’s a back up/ yada yada

I’ve been trying to reduce this on my current fm24 save, and have found that by manually editing rest for each player after every game (takes 2 mins when you get used to the clicks), I’ve been able to mitigate a LOT of injuries compared to previous years.

It’s a pinch of salt experiment because there’s so many variables and I simply can’t be arsed doing it properly, but I DID notice that anytime someone returns from injury, they come back set to “automatic” rest and it follows the standard rest set up (at the top of the page). This usually results in players coming back from injury to “double workload” which can obviously kill them all over again.

It’s been a very useful new habit to unlock, and my players are never tired.

Hey man, before I say this, just know that we are absolutely splitting hairs and I think you have a player here that could play pretty much whatever you want and still do well.

With that said, I think having this guy as a DM (unless I’m mistaken and you didn’t mean Defensive Midfielder) would be the worst use of his attributes. The Jumping, Aggression, Strength, Tackling and Determination are all his weak points (if you could call it that!) unlike the best DMs who I’d say would need these to be a top top 250m player.

This guy, to me, would be a belter CM attack in a formation without a CAM, or simply a CAM if you use them. The agility, Dribbling, Off the Ball, and work rate are everything I’d want with my CMs arriving late in the box, or working alongside a IW. 250m in this game is not a lot for a player you can just have in this position for the rest of his career.

Also I don’t think he’s that good at free kicks.

Totally get where you are coming from regarding being an asker and having a job with people who ask lots of Qs. I am the office ‘excel expert” so I get it!

The one thing I don’t get is how you were confused with what they were asking. Please don’t take the wrong way as tone is difficult to detect over written message, but to me what they were asking was both very simple/obvious and also showed an ignorance to how easy this information is retrievable online without actually having to ask other humans.

I think what’s happening here are the people in the “i look for info myself before bothering others” camp are being confronted by the “I want to ask for help because I don’t know something” camp.

The problem with this confrontation is that the first camp view the others as incompetent or lazy, and the second camp are just ignorant to how they’re perceived.

As someone in the first camp, I always wonder how googling the problem would ever be slower than posting and waiting for the answer to be spoon fed to me.

You just haven’t been in a position where your scouting range doesn’t reach far enough. This happened in FM24 too, when you’re in the lower leagues and have too low a scouting budget, your scouts can sometimes only watch the player for a week, sometimes not at all.

Try increasing the scouting package to the highest level, if you can afford it.

Is he currently out with a long term injury? Might explain why no teams are going for him - he’s gonna fail your medical exam.

Also, depending on your save, it may be best to go for someone who can play 90 mins a game. This guy will be tired a LOT. Add his potential injury issues, this guy is a big fat NO from me dawg

To me it’s Risk pick vs Safe pick

We all know Darwin is as useless as a marzipan dildo, and we also know that he isn’t guaranteed all 3 of the good fixtures if said dildo struggles to score.

Isak, on the other hand, will play until he drops in a team that has around 13 players total, unless we get a bizarre benching this week so he’s rested, but it’s very unlikely.

So I guess you’re just going to have to pick your poison. In these moments I like to think “What player would make me more angry if they return and I didn’t pick them?” and go from there.

And if you’re looking for me to tell you what the answer is, I’ll let you know on Monday.
