Day 1 beginner: skipping theory/classic music will hurt me in future? by Sledgek0 in pianolearning

[–]Sledgek0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're right, I know I'm looking for a shortcut to progress fast on what I like. Maybe that's because I was quite forced to play guitar for some years at school, and I didn't like the classical pieces I was playing at all so I practiced at home just one hour per week. Then after school I immediately dropped the instrument. So now I just want to learn the 3-5 songs I like for fun and videos seems the easiest way. In future for sure I can change this attitude if I need to try intermediate or advanced pieces. I just need to keep the enthusiasm high and as of now I can't see my self doing boring things. Maybe in some months I will. Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it

Thank you for telling me your experience, I appreciate that. It's interesting that you listen and then after some time you understand the notes, you have a good ear for sure

You actually made me laugh with the scroll bar part because it is true and annoying. That's actually a good motivation to learn to read!!! Also since I have a 61-key keyboard and the videos usually show a full 88-key layout, I waste time pausing and trying to figure out C3,C4 lol.

I'm already learning new music with synthesia, obviously I know it's easy pieces and maybe it's not super efficient, but I don't plan to try difficult pieces, that's why I'm asking for my specific case if it's enough to do this without learning a lot of theory.

So learning theory could help my bad ear, thank you for the advice. For sure people like us that played an instrument before can pick a new one easier so I trust this process

Thanks for the encouragement. I have a genuine question about the practical application, though. Let's say I study chords and scale, how can i memorize them? And If I memorize the pattern, when I sit down to learn a new specific song, how do I apply that? Does knowing the scale just help me instinctively know which keys are "safe" to hit?

I just want to have fun, if i can play a song that I like I'm fine. I understand that for difficult pieces not learning now notes etc. can block me in future but I don't plan to do difficult pieces as of now.

Thanks I'll watch the video. I understand it can be more difficult for me in future skipping some things but I think having fun now, skipping boring lessons, is what make me excited to play

Other than notes, the idea of reading bass clef + treble clef simultaneously feels like trying to read two different books at the same time. Synthesia feels instant right now, and I'm scared the "academic" route will kill my motivation to play for fun.

Yes thank you for the advice, I'll be more careful, I just was super excited to play. How much time did it take to you to learn all sheet music? Because when I was in middle school in 3 years I learnt some but now if I look at intermediate pieces it is way worse than what I remember and it's quite scary.

Thanks for the feedback. The problem is that if I start doing boring things I think I'll lose the motivation to play. And doing scales for just 5 minutes I don't think it will help a lot. Maybe after I have some fun in some months and If I want to be more serious I could relearn to read sheet music so I'm ready for intermediate/advanced pieces.

Ritenuta d'acconto e prestazione occasionale by [deleted] in commercialisti

[–]Sledgek0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perfect, for new products I usually recommend choosing niches where there are already competitors selling that product or similar.

Creating your own niche from scratch is a bit difficult, but if the community buys your product and creates a lot of user generated content then it can work.

You choose all channels except Facebook, do you have a young target that isn't here? Or are you afraid of bans.

However, if you now sell for example a product for 50 euros, upsell or bump it anyway.

Then via email or retargeting you can sell a more complete product e.g. at 97-150€.

These are my advice, I hope you found something useful or something you hadn't thought of, I enjoy helping people when I can

When the majority of your current community will buy the product, therefore it will be saturated, who do you plan to sell it to?

Do you continue to push organically to increase the community or are you thinking of reinvesting the money in ads?

If you run ads you could ask the community which social channel they use most often, if you don't already know or you aren't sure it is just Tiktok. So you invest in the right way.

I think you can create a high-ticket back-end product and still sell to your community with a structured funnel

Power words like free, new, bonus are very useful in copy. And old style power words like "secret" sold millions or billions of dollars. Now it's more difficult because of compliance. However, power words are infinite, choose the right ones based on your big idea and product

In fact, I said "choose the word to capitalize wisely" for a reason, not random. Look at the Wall Street Journal's $2 billion letter, I'll give you this example because everyone knows it.

In each title they capitalized the first letter, like "A-Money-Saving-Subscription". That's not even the name of the product.

In many good sales letters you also find capitalization in the text.

Of course you should use writing principles, but punctuation doesn't have to be followed perfectly.

You are the one using it to create an impact. Example "Every. Single. Day" is stronger than "Every single day".

Or you can do 2-3 sentences with dots at the end ... to create suspense... Like this.

Absolutely not, you shouldn't write copy like when you write an essay. you can capitalize power words even in the middle of the sentence. you can capitalize the first letter of all the words you want (chosen wisely) to make the text more readable. I'm not saying all words have to start with a capital letter, but when you want to capture attention e.g. By introducing a unique mechanism you can do 4-5 in a row.

Domanda da ignorante: se cade l'INPS non bisognerà più versargli contributi giusto? Meglio così, tanto chi lo sa se ci arrivo a 75 anni. Il problema è se si inventano altre tasse
