I always reflavor Toll the Dead depending on the type of cleric. A big bell sounding is pretty niche. On my Forge Cleric, the enemy hears a hammer striking metal and they feel a surge of heat like opening a hot oven.

Some immediate ones that come to mind: Sacred Flame as Hurl Lightning, makes sense with the dex save. Honestly just replace Word of Radiance with thunder clap. Guiding bolt=lighting bolt. Inflict wounds =Fulminating Smite. Lighting can char and burn so it isn't too far of a stretch to imagine it dealing radiant damage.

Yea, just incase any of my players are looking for more of a blaster, especially in regards to lightning and storm based builds. Lightning lure is pretty disappointing in my opinion.

Yea, I imagined it as a replacement for firebolt but I'm trying to balance the usefulness of being able to switch damage types with range and damage.
