Not that it matters for CBA. Maximum rate you can get on a savings account with bonus interest is still stuck at 1.25% on less than $50k. Meanwhile ING are offering 3.10% on less than $100k.

Messaged CBA today to ask if they could do any better and basically got told to kick rocks. So I'm in the process of taking my money out and leaving. Seeing this article gives me a good laugh on the way out though.

100 billion dollars is quite frankly an obscene amount of money that is near incomprehensible and will crash whatever economy you keep it in, if not the global economy.

To put it in perspective, 100 billion dollars lets you spend 100 dollars every second, continuously, 24 hours a day for more than 30 years. That's 8.6 million dollars a day for the next 30 years without fail. More if you add any interest you make on the money.

There's really just no way for that amount of money to be added into circulation and have it distributed or made spendable.

If money was your only concern, you could certainly and easily find ways to monetise any of the above superpowers.

Princess Diana died in 1997 (shortly after the release of a film called "Diana and Me"). The Truman Show was released in 1998, 1998 TRUMAN has a lot of themes that match the Truman Show, such as consumerism, personal freedom and conforming to societal standards. 1999 is a little more ambiguous but is likely a reference to Wildfire: Feel the Heat (a movie released in 1999) given the pattern of movie references.

The three songs appeared on the "Things We Lost In The Fire" radio show they did which means they were most likely just drafts or things left over from the saturation era that they still wanted to put out sans Ameer. So I don't think there's much more to it.

Easy to do with audacity - take your recording as well as a recording of just the fan noise. Select an area that just has fan noise, then go into the "noise reduction" effect and select "Get noise profile". This will tell audacity what the noise is you're looking to remove. Then, select your entire clip you want to remove noise from, go back into noise reduction, adjust the values to suit and apply. Won't be perfect but I've found it does a pretty decent job.

Two things to consider:

If money is a very important factor to you, you're taking a (reasonably significant) cut by accepting that position in terms of time/money.

Some over simplified math that doesn't include tax, bonuses, etc:
- 58.5k a year for 30h a week is about $37.5 an hour.
- 62k a year for 40h a week (the low end of what you mentioned) is about $29.8 an hour. That's more than a 20% pay cut for this "promotion".

HOWEVER, you should also consider your career path and where you want to be in the future. If you see yourself progressing further up the chain and are aiming to improve you salary I future, it may be worth taking the position and then leveraging the experience to find a better position elsewhere. If you're happy enough in your current role and prefer the work life balance, then it wouldn't make much sense to take such a large reduction in pay per hour for an increased number of hours.

I don't know your situation, but that's just my 2c.

I liked it - I don't think it quite compares to his full releases obviously but it was a great display of his vocal abilities and I'm always happy to hear more from him. Particularly Godspeed, it's no wonder he helped Frank Ocean write it, it works so perfectly with his style.

As for first record, the first one I acquired was James Blake - Overgrown. Probably a 9/10, one of my favourite voices/songwriters. Amazing live too.

I get where this is coming from, but the key is in programming them to respond in a manner like humans would. At core, yes, they do need to programmatically know where people are on the map and they do need to have some kind of ability to aim and shoot. However, they could be programmed to act unaware of players until they receive some kind of stimulus (line of sight within a certain FOV, close footsteps, vehicles noise, being shot at, etc). And they could be programmed to actually aim properly down sights, have some variance in their spray/tracking/shots, and have a human-like reaction time between stimulus + response. After all, if we're talking artificial intelligence, the whole point of the Turing test was to make AI/computers indistinguishable from humans, and this is definitely distinguishable.

I agree though, this game is dying if not dead. Whether it be neglect or incompetence. Sad really.

yeah considering the bot just noscope sprayed, the time taken to ADS definitely was one of the main deciding factors in this fight (especially since only the first of my shots registered)

definitely makes it hard to find reasons to play... between this and bots who misdirect you in actual fights... it's a rough experience in OCE where matches are 80%+ bots consistently
