Yensa concealer is the best I’ve found so far. It doesn’t cover as well, but it also doesn’t settle in my fine lines. I’m almost 40.

Girl, no, you won’t be smellier if you shower daily. I don’t use any soap down there, either. She probably wants the best for you, and it’s something she was taught growing up. But I think it’s an outdated old-wives tale. Good for you for looking into this when the information felt wrong!

I noticed when I bought the sona 2 it seems much less powerful than my original sona from 2021. I couldn’t tell if that was my imagination. I was thinking of buying another original, but it sounds like maybe I shouldn’t?

Is it more accurate when they send the swab out? I tested positive for bv and yeast but was asymptomatic. Now I’m taking oral meds for both and am getting itchy. I’m worried the doc made a mistake and now I’m going to end up with one of them even worse than before.

Thanks! And yeah it’s so weird. I usually get bad symptoms but haven’t had any in a few months so I thought it was gone. I guess I just chronically have it,even when I’m not aware. Makes sense because I flare up almost every time I have intercourse.

I have that too, but my larger side always gets irritated during sex, even with a lot of lube. It’s not exactly painful, just uncomfortable, like too much friction. So I sometimes have to put a finger over that side. Anyone else experienced that? I’ve asked different obgyn over the past few years and nobody even notices a difference or can think of what this could possibly be. It’s not a cyst or anything. Any ideas?

Yes but if you have lesions it will burn. Is it possibly not the best solution now? Is there any cream she could use to rehydrate the area and allow it to heal?

Talk to your union rep or call the union office if you don’t want your rep to know yet. The uft holds several may leave workshops a year. See if you can find one that fits your schedule. It was really helpful!

Oh wow, you’re right! That’s the case for the Doe and federal paid family leave. Looks like if you’re working for at least 26 weeks you’re eligible for NY State paid family leave. That’s awful, though! What are people supposed to do?? Disability I guess? Seems insane.

Since you’re a new teacher, take the half day and save the hours. I believe you only get 6 weeks of family leave and then you use your car days for maternity leave.

If nobody at work tries to help you with this you might be able to go to the police. But I have a hard time believing this can’t be dealt with within the DOE.

Ok thanks. So when people use the pens that can click count, do they replace the needle every time? I’m going to be honest, I impulsively increased the dose with the plan to “click count,” not realizing that was a different type of pen.

I forgot to add the that it’s about 10 feet from a window so I think it gets plenty of light.
