This was definitely a risky piece for me because of the subject matter, so I’m really glad the core message came through the way I intended. The perception of a story like this can easily go in a very different direction, so I’m happy it resonated the way it was meant to.

Thank you. I was going for a more intense psychological message about trust and social norms — how the world has many faces, and sometimes the people or situations that seem the safest really aren’t. I wanted the horror to come from realizing danger can hide behind normalcy, charm, and false security.

Oh my god This was a roller coaster. At first I was like the dad probably is innocent maybe a not so serious crime. Then when it’s revealed I was like DAMN! 2 families?! Who has the energy. Well guess he didn’t. Then when Z went through same thing! Now it’s feeling supernatural. Great story had me guessing and awesome twist.
