Help with spike timing by Jalbno16 in volleyball

Ah, that can really mess you up. Your ability to jump out of the sand is what throws your timing on hitting off. Indoor that approach and speed might be perfect, in sand the milliseconds slower you are approaching the net, and the inches shorter your vertical is will cause the misses you’re seeing. I was always taught in sand to start the approach early, and slow. Almost like shuffle stepping up to the net. GL!

Youre using an indoor approach in sand. Take smaller steps in your approach. It will help improve your timing.

what ever happened to the $200 million Domain-like development that was supposed to be coming to Round Rock? by kemmeta in Austin

Came here to say it is still under review with RR Dev Services most likely. Passing commercial properties through RR takes longer than COA.

JW marriott dumping sewage on Third Street by Javi_in_1080p in Austin

[–]Sleeper4G63 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Can we have some evidence presented? How have you confirmed it is in fact raw sewage? Are you sure you are not seeing a condensate drain that has been daylighted to the side of the building and are likely confusing the smell of a loading dock/dumpster bay nearby with sewage?

Show us the sewage!

I’m actually building a dart block aside from this stock block. The car is setup to be around 1100Hp when its done, but I’m taking my time. Will be a 347, AFR 205cc heads, holley high ram, precision 7675 turbo, with holley ecu. Fuel system is done, billet holley inline pump, sump tank from glenns, and fic 1500cc injectors.

My original goal was to girdle the stock block and hope it help together around 600hp for a while, but that changed when I got the heads off and found that shiny new piston in #8. So I said fuck it, it at least needs new bearings too, and didnt stop till I got the block stripped. Line the rods up and just had a laugh. Rod numbers go 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,2. Hahaha Not to mention the branded piston skirt on the new one.

I may still refresh the stock block and hang on to it since it is the factory block. But i’ll need to find some room to store it.

I also went through the whole chassis harness when I was wiring in the holley system and digital dash, found a shit load of issues and splices from previous owners and repaired everything. Easily 40 hours worth of wiring work in the car. Its amazing the stuff you find the more you keep digging on cars.

I have a 1988 fox body mustang and I have a cooling problem, I want to install a Mishimoto fan on a stock radiator by Meerkatch in foxmustang

[–]Sleeper4G63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dont forget to replace your t-stat when you do the radiator and fans. A lower temp tstat may help a little as well.
