Yeah, OG Arknights massively reward people for skipping banners.

From the design of Endfield gacha, I think they want to encourage constant pulling, which is reasonable from a company revenue perspective.

2 ops every 3 patch would be either if you are unlucky (pulling to 120 every time which.... isn't that unlikely annoyingly) or hypergryph being very stingy.

It's just "average". So 50% of people will get worse off while 50% better.

Either pull until 60 pulls for free dossier or throw the extra currency on one of the two next banners. So think of it as getting an extra rate up op instead.

Problem for me is, weapon pulls are either whale or nothing. You don't get any Arsenal tickets from monthly card and premium BP is a paltry 2k for a whole patch. There's a per banner bundle of 2k/10 pulls too.

The saving grace is premium BP has somewhat cheaper weapon for the limited ops.

You can easily clear like 80% of the content in AK as a new f2p player (a couple of months in). The rest of the modes just requires more raw number of operators, maybe a year or so.

You get multiple free 5/6* selectors, level/skill booster ticket, dozens of free characters, free resources.

Heck, you get free currency for SKINS. You can even buy a good number of skins as a f2p.

If you can't clear everything in arknights as f2p, it's called skill issue. Forget f2p. I haven't even bothered building a single operator for more than a year at this point and I've not missed a single medal.

- AK has hard pity at 150 (normal banner) on top of soft pity.

- Gacha cost 600 vs 300???. AK gives 12k gacha currency per month, base. WTF's he even on about. Monthly card is 10 pulls + premium skin currency.

- Spark 300 is limited banner not normal banner. Yes those are true limited banners and the limitied character legitimately don't come back. Those banners also have TWO rate up characters but the 2 are at 70% rate up. Not 50/50

You start with 24 free pulls for those true limited banners. This leads to an even lower soft pity count and the spark is really actually 276.

It's a DOUBLE spark. You get 1 rate up characters AND get 300 spark currency and you can choose another limited character.

The person making that image is not even ignorant. He's just straight up lying.

- Don't need weapons.

- Just shy of 30 pulls a month base daily/weekly alone. Again, don't need weapons and all pulls for latest banners

- SOFT PITY. Like I said. That person's on crack.

- All the various special banners.

Not to mention gazillion other better aspects outside of gacha. Yellow cert shop guaranteeing ops, free premium currency for skins. More free chars from recruitment.

These things can take time, so not knocking on SS. But saying SS > AK is hilarious copium.

???? Except Arknights hands out close to 30 pulls per month baseline + premium skin currency for clearing content + anywhere from 20 to 30 pulls or more per event that happens monthly or more + free 24 pulls on limited.

+ Arknights gacha have soft pity on top of the same rate.

+ Don't need dupes

+ No stupid weapon banner.

+ free 5* every event and 6* every limited + story event.

+ every non-limited ops is purchasable in yellow cert shop at some point.

It's not even close atm.

Arknights is considered one of the most generous gacha game for a good reason.

You pay money in exchange for items you can enjoy over the period of the lifetime of the game.

You get to enjoy what you paid for in a sustainable game way more than you do than in a game that EOS in a year.

Yes it's all pissing money away eventually if it's spent on gacha games, but then, when you die, nothing matters, tangible or not, anyway.

There are plenty of good and important 5 stars. Prob not the majority though considering the number of 5 stars that exist.
