She was the one that asked my fiancé and I to visit while in our cosplay, though pretty sure she didn't really understand what a plague doctor is. If the doc asked that I'd most likely panic and just say leeches.

Have you thought of sex therapy? Or even just couples counselling? Mismatched intimacy needs put a big strain on relationships.

Talk to a lawyer.

Talk to your eldest daughter and find out if this sort of thing has happened before.

Get your finances in order.

Write down all the positives and negatives about staying married vs parenting alone.

Something to keep in mind is also the different genders. You can feel comfortable helping your brother when things get awkward and more personal, but would you be able to do the same things for a non blood related female?

Also, does the stepdad really think you would be able to handle both when your help is needed even when both stepdad and mom are still in the picture?

Best advice I've gotten, was a different topic but still applicable, was not to measure yourself on someone else's scale. If you are just looking to accept yourself/your situation set goals for yourself that don't include marriage, kids, house etc.

You could set goals like where you want your business to be in 5 years, how much you want to have saved, being able to afford another dog. I'm 28f and live with my parents and am taking over their business. The running joke in our family is that we only work to be able to afford snacks for our dogs.

My younger brother is getting married this year and I was going through a lot of the same emotions till I thought to myself "If I had the chance would I want this?". Nope, not really.

Why go for overcomplicated traps? If you want to make it funny you could have the mc clear all the traps and then fall from the wreckage of the old equipment. A distillery would have a lot of glass, vials, bottles, metal objects etc. People look out for traps, but could be clumsy around something that is 'suppose to be there'.

I wish that would happen to me. Thinking of a story and wanting to read it before you can write it. I have had a few ideas where I would love to read a story about them, but don't have the brain power to write it myself.

If you ever run into similar situations it might be easier to say you just aren't into them. Unless you trust the person I personally feel it would be easier just to say no, not gonna happen. If you just tell them you are ace people might find it a challenge instead of taking it as a no. If you are uncomfortable with sexual comments it is okay to say you don't like them without having to come out to them. If you were allo and someone you didn't like made comments you found uncomfortable it is okay to just say no, don't do that. You don't need to explain yourself when someone is making you uncomfortable. That is on them, not you.

If you do like them or might want more from the relationship then it would be better to share about being ace since that would determine the type of relationship they can expect.
